You know what they say: Like son, like father.
Dwyane Wade is already off to a big start against the Houston Rockets. Up six points late in the first quarter, Wade pulled off a sick spin move and evaded basically all but one Rockets defender for a layup. What’s even more impressive is that Wade had to go the reverse route to make his shot.
Statistically, Wade’s numbers resemble the ones closer to when he first entered the league than when he was in his prime. That said, he’s also not taking as many shots as he used to. That’s Father Time for you. Still, every once in a while, D-Wade pulls off one of those shots that makes you say wow. Twelve years into the league, he can still make defenders miss and win one-on-four matchups.
