Daily Fantasy

Kelenna Azubuike - We’ve said it before in this column, Azubuike can play. If he received consistent minutes, he’d be a legit fantasy option because of his three-point capabilities (3 more last night). Don Nelson clearly likes him and with all the Warrior injuries, you have to keep an eye out for Azubuike.

Baron Davis/Monta Ellis - We could talk about the Warriors all day in the Daily Fantasy. Baron is going to have his knee cleaned out and will definitely miss significant time (our guess is 3 weeks to a month). Monta Ellis is going to get the majority of the minutes, meaning his numbers should be great over the next few weeks with the exception of turnovers. One thing to watch out for - Monta’s knee has also been giving him problems. Don’t be surprised to see Sarunas Jasikevicius get some value sometime in the early second half of the season.

Steve Nash - We did say yesterday that playing him was a risk! Nash will most likely sit out this week and sit out the All-Star break. It’s actually good news. This gives him the best shot to be 100% when the second half begins.

Steve Blake - If you read this column regularly, you know that we love Blake. He’s been a great quiet fantasy fill-in, yet is still unowned in a ton of leagues. All he did last night was dish 14 mote assists. Yes his numbers are up with Iverson out, but we still think Blake is worth owning with Iverson in the lineup.
