Anthony Johnson - We said that Anthony Johnson could become an immediate fantasy threat and last night he showed why. Playing 34 minutes, Johnson went 7-12, had 3 threes, 17 points, and 5 assists.
Mikki Moore- A big 19 points last night was a little overshadowed by another enormous 4 rebound performance. We honestly don’t understand how Moore doesn’t get more boards.
Randy Foye - Randy Foye looked like a point guard last night. And more importantly he looked like THE point guard last night. Foye had 13 points and 8 dimes and the Wolves beat the Wizards. Mike James only played 15 minutes.
Jason Richardson - J-Rich seems back. He’s had two nice games in a row (15 and 6 last night). Our only major concern is Nellie. You just don’t know how Don Nelson is going to distribute minutes with this squad. Seems like there is still a commitment to Richardson and we’d start him this week.
Mo Evans - The Lakers needed someone to step up, and Maurice Evans seems to be that guy. Mo had a huge night yesterday going for 26 points and 2 threes. He was also 8-13 from the field and 8-9 from the free throw line. He’s not a bad short term pick up if you need a filler this week.
Mehmet Okur - Bad week for those of you who started Mehmet and his aching back. The good news is that it looks like he’ll play tonight and is safe to start. It’s no guarantee though and we’d wait until the last minute to decide if you should start him.
