Fab 25: The Ladies (Part 1)

IMAGE DESCRIPTIONOne of our favorites Dimepieces.

With the NBA Finals all but a wrap and a couple more weeks until the Draft, we’ve gotta find something to argue about in the Dime office. Why not spend that spare time going over our favorite females? After a long process, we pared the list down to 25 ladies; nothing too scientific, just a ranking of who we’re (figuratively) feeling over here. Click on each of the names to get a look. Our girl Michelle V., the former Dimepiece you see to the left, didn’t make the cut. But consider her an honorable mention…

25. Laila Ali — Not only is she fine, she can protect you if you happen to catch some unnecessary beef.

24. Eva Marcelle — The “America’s Next Top Model” alum (b.k.a. Eva Pigford) is getting into the Hollywood game now; she was pretty much the only watchable aspect of Hot Sauce’s movie debut Crossover, and her scene in Chris Rock’s I Think I Love My Wife was WAY too short for our liking.

23. Kelly Rowland — She’ll always be in Beyonce’s shadow, but that’s nothing to be ashamed of. Kelly’s long-awaited second album is supposedly going to drop this summer, which means we’ll be seeing a lot of her on magazine covers, street team posters and videos over the next couple months. Good deal.

22. Sanaa Lathan — Being able to play ball always scores you points around here, and Sanaa definitely did her thing in Love & Basketball.

21. Kerry Washington — As good as she looked in She Hate Me, Ms. Washington took it to another level in I Think I Love My Wife.

20. Candace Pillay — Who the hell is Candace Pillay, you ask? MySpace her and thank us later. We haven’t stopped staring at the pics long enough to know exactly what she does for a living, though.

19. Ciara — Talent is always sexy, and Ciara’s dance skills are top-notch. Then again, she could be working at Jiffy Lube for minimum wage and we’d still be big fans of hers.

18. Rihanna — When word got out that Rihanna was performing somewhere in Manhattan on the “Today” show a few days ago, we may or may not have considered taking a Dime field trip to check her out. The girl with one of this summer’s hottest albums just won the Venus Breeze razor company’s “Celebrity Legs of a Goddess” award, with no argument from us.

17. Nicole Scherzinger — Everyone says Ms. Pussycat Doll needs to go solo, but she might as well already be a solo act. Nobody’s studyin’ those other girls in the background.

16. Vanessa Minnillo — Remember when she dropped an F-bomb during MTV’s New Year’s Eve celebration? We thought Vanessa might’ve gotten fired for that. But you know how some girls are fine enough to get out of speeding tickets? Do the math.

15. Jessica Biel — She’s come a long way since being America’s sweetheart on “7th Heaven,” evolving into a bona fide sex symbol.

14. Tyra Banks — Between “America’s Next Top Model” and her talk show, Tyra is everywhere now. Except the Victoria’s Secret catalog, of course, which just isn’t the same without her.

13. Vida Guerra — She’s got the calendar girl game on lock, and now the asspiring triple-threat is singing, acting and modeling. Butt we’re still all over those calendars.

12. Dania Ramirez — Another She Hate Me star who popped up on two of our favorite shows recently: “Heroes” and “The Sopranos.”

11. Eva Longoria — OK, so she gets a ton of camera time during every Spurs game. But what’s so wrong with getting to look at one of the baddest women in the world a few times a night?

Come back later today for our Top 10…
