Mr. 720 Does It Again

Last summer, T.J. Fontenette made himself famous when he pulled off a 720-degree dunk at an AND 1 tour stop in Houston. Dubbed “Air Up There” at the time, the 6-2 freak of an athlete had been making a name for himself on the tour by ripping down rims all over the country, but after the 720 cram, was all of a sudden getting play on ESPN and other national sports shows. This summer, T.J. has a new handle — “Mr. 720” — and is doing his thing on the Ball4Real tour and turning in highlights on a nightly basis. When the B4R team was in Detroit last week, he got another chance to break out the dunk that made him a household name. Check it out…

    well its more body control for the spin than it is overall hops…alot of guys (by that i mean ELITE jumpers) have the hops to do it but not the body control to spin fast enough. So even if he barely makes it over the rim, its still a hot dunk and a dunk most people arent pullin off..props to him..still cant ball though lol

    Anything after a 360 is crazy. But everyone including the Media, give props to guys who can “JUST DUNK”. Don’t get me wrong its a hot dunk whether its a 540 or 720. But TRUE BALLERS can do it all. But that’s my basketball opinion.

    ’bout the 540/720 thing… most 360s aren’t true 360 degree spins in the air [before the dunk] anyway. So if you want to nitpik on T.J.’s rotation than go back to Dominique’s and even David Thompson’s 360’s and measure up those joints. Bottom line, sick dunk… Put the dude in All Star Weekend.

    This guy is a balla,BIGBLACK your saying he aint caz he cant do it all…Can steve nash dunk,can Shaq hit the 3,can ben wallace do anything beside shut down his man down…they all got something special and for that reason they are ballers…this guy has something special,that is why i consider him a baller

    like rod said, all those guys are good in more than one area if they wanted to be…air up there can only jump, as his community college 11 ppg showed..keep him away from the rim in a legit game and hes pretty much useless.

    p.s: nash can dunk, but he cant DUNK…ya kno
