Art Class

IMAGE DESCRIPTIONSuper Mareo

We’re always on the lookout for ballplayers’ tattoos, whether it’s to pencil in guys for upcoming “Ink” features in the mag or just to steal ideas for when (if) we go under the pen. At last week’s NBA Rookie Shoot we saw some good work, especially on Bobcats big man Jermareo Davidson — that’s his “Super Mareo” tat on the left — and Spurs wing Marcus Williams. We took shots of some of their tats and one of Acie Law’s works of art.

That Super Mareo thang will look plain ridiculous when dude gets older. Same with Marcus Williams crappy baller.

Man, tats = art. How come these dudes turn it into mainstream! At this rate, in no time we’ll see people getting Fido Dido or Cool Spot tats ^^

I’m just waiting for their (future) grandschildren to ask’em why they got inked some good-old-funny cartoon characters on their arms…

I don’t believe in tatoos. They can have them and it makes all of them look rediculous.
