For the new issue of Dime, we went to Miami to check in on Carlos Boozer. Arguably the game’s most underrated player, last season Booz finally showed what he could do when healthy. He smashed teams for more than 20 points and 11 boards a night, and for while we were pushing for him to be considered in the MVP conversation.
In person, Booz isn’t the WWE-style post player you see wrecking opposing bigs on TV. He’s super-friendly and laid back, but he’s quick to acknowledge that there’s no time to mess around when the lights go on.
