Randy Foye is Out Indefinitely

This is tough for T-Wolves fans. Reports this afternoon say that Randy Foye will be out for several weeks due to a knee injury. Medical tests have revealed that Foye, after dealing with knee pain all preseason, has a “stress reaction” in his left kneecap. For the official report, go HERE.

What does this mean for Minnesota? They are clearly going to struggle mightily this season no matter what; the only bright spots being the young guys coming together (Foye, Rashad McCants, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, etc.).

This could honestly be the best thing that’s ever happened for Bassy. Foye had beaten him out for the starting PG spot, but now you have to think Telfair is going to get a legit shot at playing the point, with McCants seeing the majority of time at the 2…

    Sux for Foye, who is actually better than most people think. And now Telfair is the leading point? bah humbug. This guy doesn’t fit the job description of a point guard. He can’t shoot a 18ft jimmie, he can’t defend my little sister, he can’t lead a team and cannot run an offense. Louisville would have been a good look for this character frauding as an NBA player.

    We’re not down the foyelet yet, but the water is swirling. Let’s hope Foye is back soon. He had an excellent preseason. But Foye was pegged to play both the 1 and 2.
