The Laker POV

Lakers blog Forum Blue & Gold has their take on Kobe and Game 1 of the Lakers season HERE.

Long story short? Too much Kobe … and definitely too much Brian Cook.

And here’s some more in-depth analysis from the L.A. Times official Lakers blog.

These next few Laker games should be on everybody’s must-watch list.. Kobe’s gonna keep coming out with that F*ck-the-World, Shoot-em-Up mentality he displayed against Houston. His jumper wasn’t even on and he missed a ton of free throws, but he still got 45.. Plus he was being guarded by Battier, who’s a great defender. I’m telling you, a bad team is gonna catch him on a wrong day and it’s gonna be on. BTW, the Timberpups are coming to Staples next week..

  2. Captain America says:

Once the Lakers lose a few games, Kobe will start his bit-hing and moaning. Everyone knows that Kobe could score 100 points and the team will lose.

  3. Mox says:

I thought they played decent considering Lamar was out and H-town was fully staffed with T-Mac and Yao.Fortunately, Kobe gives you a chance to win every night because he is the best player in the world. Still, its a sad day in La La Land. This relationship is over between KB24 and the Lakers, and whats worse is Kobe will veto any trade that gives LA anything worth a damn in return. Ugly.

Why doesn’t Buss go Marcus Allen on him? You wanna be a punk? sit.

  5. Jay says:

    @ JayTea

You really think Buss has the cajones to do that? Dude has been b!tched by Kobe since superstardom hit. Plus, most of all, Buss is a stingy fellow, sitting Kobe for an extended period of time will just cause him to lose cash flow. Kobe = meal ticket.
