In this morning’s Smack, we told you that the Bobcats’ Adam Morrison was scheduled to get an MRI today after hurting his left knee in yesterday’s exhibition game against the Lakers. What first though to be a “knee strain” is actually a torn ACL and will most likely result in season-ending knee surgery.
Morrison hurt himself in the third quarter guarding Luke Walton on a cut to the basket. Morrison felt a pop and crumpled to the floor in pain. “He pretty much knew’’ what the MRI exam would reveal, coach Sam Vincent told the Charlotte Observer, “because he felt, when he made the move, the pop.’’

I can’t believe how uncoordinated a defender Morrison is. What are the ‘Cats doing for agility training?
He would have been a hot (streaky) scorer off the bench.
