“I Get Buckets, Son”

There’s a great blog written by The Washington Post‘s Dan Steinberg called the The D.C. Sports Bog. Yes, “Bog.” (he tells you why its spelled that way here).

The last two days have had some unreal Wizards stuff. Today starts with Deshawn Stevenson wanting to A)turn his whole back into a jersey and B) answering the MySpace business about him wanting to pay $10,000 to date Lindsey Lohan.

After that, scroll down to a post from yesterday about the Wizards’ Oleksiy Pecherov‘s English lessons:

So Wiz rookie Oleksiy “Opec” “Big Oily” Pecherov is getting some English tutorials from his teammates. The latest?

“I get buckets, son; I get buckets, son,” he said about four thousand times after practice today.

Hmmm Agent Zero and Deshawn. One is funny because he is witty and interesting. The other is funny cause he is pretty stupid. Deshawn needs to learn the difference between good press and bad press. Would have been mad funny if the tatoo artist would have spelled his name wrong on his back. Get your publicity game right Deshawn, but first get rid of that tat!

LOL @ I get buckets, son!

Papa Smurf may be the most unintentionally funny guy in the NBA. He’s a locked up for a great run of when-keepin-it-real-goes-wrong moments.
