Ray had minor surgery, not major. And he probably wouldve played the whole season (for 10th time out of 11 seasons) if my Sonics werent doing so terrible and decided to go for the draftpick and shut Ray down (which worked out TERRIFIC).

Heres the deal, I think Rondo just had training camp legs. A lot of his shots looked straight out flat and that was mainly as a result of chasin TJ Ford and Jose Calderon around (possibly the best PG duo in the league if not in the top 3) Um people lets not for Jesus Shuttlesworth had major surgery on his ankle(s) last year so forgive him for bein a tad off. Leakygyrl if u honestly think this will happen all year than u dont kno much about Ray Ray. For some reason I hate P2 but I respect the hell outta him and if can get into the groove he had mid 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter hittin fades over everybody...sometimes 2 defenders. KG as always is a beast and the Atlantic divison quite possible may have went from the worst in the league to a extrememly dangerous one. Knicks, Celts, Raps, Nets? Sixers meh but damn if they all maintain health look out.

As long as Rondo doesn't take more than seven shots a game he'll be fine no matter how many he hits. The dribbling is a bit of a problem though....

haha, Ray Allen has one of the purest strokes in the NBA today, if not THE purest.. guys like Arenas & Korver might be better volume 3-point shooters but there's nobody better coming off of screens on limited-clock inbounds plays at this point.. i think the main key for Boston will be whether or not injuries hit.. with their short roster, it'll actually be a bigger factor than most other teams.. but if everyone's healthy, i think Eddie House, Scot Pollard, Tony Allen & James Posey coming in off the bench more than makes up for the inconsistency they'll get from Perkins & Rondo..

Big Dogg Robinson was the MAN at Purdue, doing whatever he wanted to Big Ten opponents.. What ever happened to him after he snuck on the Spurs roster to nab a ring?

Wow, Leekagyrl you actually think Ray Allen is going to shoot bricks all season? Ray Allen is just getting warmed up. I recall reading in dime mag a couple months back, where Allen points out he doesn't shoot the ball for a couple months after the season is over. If you are considered one of the best shooters in the world for the last decade, you need a bit of time off. And don't forget Ray Allen is part of another BIG THREE, only this time, Pierce is better than Sam, however, their pretty much even when the game is on the line. Other than the contract similarities between KG and Glen Robinson, their is no comparison. KG is actually worth his money and Big Dawg never lived up to his potential. I thought Big Dawg good have been great in the NBA, watching him play for the boilmakers was a treat, he was something in college. Anyways, with the new big three, Ray Allen is going to get his shots off and get 20ppg. Double P and KG are unselfess players, these guys have a chance at putting banners up in Boston. KG or Double P for MVP this year.

Boston's back up point guard situation is in trouble, IMO. They need to get a pure point guard. It's a must. There wasn't much u could take from this game, except that. The Raptors looked pretty good. I was actually shocked since they really didn't do anything except sign Kapono and Baston. Hopefully, Bosh can stay healthy. I think they're going to be filthy this year.
