Steve Blake - Always one of my favorite fantasy players to mention, Blake is being given the keys to the Blazers. If he is available, pick him up. Blake is going to put up some real assist numbers feeding the ball to Aldridge.
Francisco García – Reggie Theus LOVES García. Garcia’s potential was one of the first things Theus talked when he took the Kings job and now he’s making Francisco his point guard while Bibby is out. That’s not going to work out so well for the Kings, but Garcia could have some nice numbers over the next week or two. Worth watching or taking a flyer on.
Devin Harris - Supposedly it is a guarantee that Devin Harris will be back in the line up for Thursday’s game. I’m still not a Harris fan but considering he’s on a whole lot of rosters and probably in some line ups this week, this is great news.
Chris Kaman - Questionable for Tuesday’s game with a banged up left leg, Kaman is optimistic he’ll play. Too early for little injuries to get Kaman down. His owners need him.
Dampier/Diop - It’s interesting, the Mavericks have really gotten numbers (and if you randomly started him, so have you) out of DeSagana Diop. Erick Dampier, who most likely went undrafted in your league, is probably a week or two away from returning. I can’t image either guy having sustained value over the season, but for maybe the first time, Diop is the one we’d choose if we had to own one.
Ben Wallace – Don’t give up on big Ben yet, and if you need a 2nd center, he’s an unbelievable buy low candidate. Just don’t read Scott Skiles comments about him before you make the deal (he essentially said that Ben is on a short leash). Wallace is clearly on a major decline, but there is very little chance his rebounding and block numbers don’t bounce back at least a little bit.

The first question is actually a tough call. I like Acie Law’s potential on that squad. I think his assists are limited though and if that is what you’re looking for, I’d go Blake. It’s a tough one though.
Second one is easier. Ty Thomas has potential to give you tough categories. He’s going to be inconsistent for a little while but with Ben Wallace really struggling, the Bulls need Thomas to give them real minutes. Go Thomas.

I had Eddie Jones and Kendrick Perkins…but I dropped those two guys for Ronnie Brewer and Diop.
However on the wire in my league are Eddy Curry, Shaq, Tyrus Thomas,Steve Blake, Rasual Butler….among others.
What are your thoughts on my squad and do you think I should pick up one of those guys on the wire? Who would you suggest to give up? I think I should hold on to Odom, he is a fantasy stud in my opinion (when healthy)

Lou are you nuts? G-Force and Lamarcus is the best trade. Aldridge is a 20/8 kind of guy and Wallace is a fantasy monster. He went in the first round of the three drafts I was in.

Just my opinions so don’t shoot me down if you don’t like it.
@Tam – I had Luis Scola and dropped him. After 5 games he only gets 4/5/1 (PTS/REB/AST) plus 40% shooting… Drop him and take Tyrus he should be able to get you a block and steal a game with better results then Scola
@buckets – I like Jerry Stackhouse over Luther Head but Luthur will get 1+ Trey over Jerry. While Jerry will get 1.5+ Ast over Luther Also Luthur avgas 19 more games the last 2 years
@lou b – You didn’t say anything about your league, stats, your roster (other then PF/C), or # of players on the roster. any suggestion given by anybody can is waste of time….I guess I like wasting time….The only thing I can say is don’t trade Dwight but trade Ben and/or Lamar .
@ Willis – Even if he could get Wallace/Aldridge JUST for Howard (which no body in their right mind would do) who is he going to drop off his team??? You can’t say because he didn’t give enough info… Gerald Wallace could be better then 80% of his G/F but if he’s beating everyone in his league but except 3pts he’s not the best player for your team.

3′s are easy pickups off the wire, plenty of guys for you there. Gibson, Szcerbiak, R. Butler. If I want to replace Dwight the Fright, G-Force, Jsmoove, or Iggy better be coming to my team. Anyway, any guy that gets you buckets and 2 steals and 2 blocks a game like Gerald, but maybe 70 3′s over the season and Aldridge, a guy who is one of the 2 best young power forwards in the west and will give you solid digits on the stat sheet every night. If someone has offered them, take them.

My Team is: J.Kidd, S.Nash, J.Johnson, M.Ellis, S.Jackson, F.Garcia, K.Korver, D.Granger, J.Green, A.Horford, A.Jefferson, L.Aldridge and B.Haywood.
Should I look at J.Maxiell for J.Green and maybe either J.Kapono, R.Patterson, B.Simmoms, D.Mason, A.Wright for K.Korver? Or maybe someone else? Thanks!
