Got a fantasy question for the Doctor? Leave your question in the comments section and I will do my best to answer…
Pau Gasol - Yes, Gasol dropped 26 points in a nice win for Memphis, but 6 boards and 0 blocks isn’t going to cut it for your squad.
Darko - My favorite sleeper had a very nice game last night with 20 points, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and 6 boards. He should do better on the boards, but scoring 20 is a good sign.
Erick Dampier – Dampier was supposed to sit one more game, but instead he played and put a decent stat line of 7 and 7. Both Diop and Damp are 3rd centers.
Freddie Jones – Last night wasn’t an aberration. Freddie Jones has had value before. With the injuries and the, as Pat put it today in our Knicks coverage, “circus” going on in New York, Freddie Jones is an intriguing pick up.
Nate Robinson/Mardy Collins – Ugh. It’s crazy in NYC right now. Mardy Collins went down with an injury, Steph is… um… missing in action, and Nate, who is really a 20-25 minute per game guy off the bench, is going to have to play real minutes. All three guys should be owned.
Matt Barnes - This is it. Barnes is going to get the start tonight and will have his first chance at real value this season. Barnes could go off, has gone off before, and should be picked up. That being said, there are about 8 guys on Warriors that could be owned.

Im not sure to do wit Buckets. I knew that trade would be terrible for his fantasy value and I have in a head to head and Rotisserie cause I drafted him before the trade. So wat do I do wit him. Also im wonderin about Mike James, I thought he’d be my missin piece but now hes not even shootin a good % and bringin my team down

The Fantasy Doctor says:
Gary, yes.
AP, it’s hard to compare a forward vs. center. I’d probably say Marvin Williams.
Rockets, that’s the right rankings actually.
2 Easy, be patient with Ricky. At least see what happens when Wade gets back. Mike James isn’t the answer.
Fiyaman, drop Bonzi.

Hey Doc says:
Where was yesterday’s DAILY post?
Also, do I drop Steve Blake for Nate or Mardy?

Prof. TX says:
Personally, I dropped Mike James for Bonzi Wells. James is kind of a question mark but Wells seems to be improving this year, and has some games coming up (like the Spurs for example) that he has a reputation of playing well against.

Prof. TX says:
Who’s the more valuable guard this season between Arenas and CP? Arenas is usually great for points but I can’t tell what’s going on this season. It’s still early, but if Paul can keep up the high points and assists it might be better than Arenas’ potential for huge points and lower assists.

Shwin says:
Fantasy Doc, what do you make of Sean Williams early on. Picked him up in a deep 12 team league and dropped Ruben Patterson, but with Nenad not 100% do you see him getting enough PT to warrant a long term spot? 6 points, 8 boards, 4 blocks in less than 20 minutes…

yo fantasy doc!
im planning on trading gooden for horford for recruting some blocks. bad idea / good idea? any fact i haven’t thought of? which player will be stronger in the long run?
November 14th, 2007 at 5:54 pm
The Fantasy Doctor says:
Hey Doc, I apologize about yesterday. Honestly, I wrote it and sent it off to our team, but there was so much going on that it never made it up. our bad. I would not drop Blake for those guys.
Prof TX, I probably like Wells a little better as well. You don’t want either in your line up on a week to week. And CP is right now more valuable, mainly because Gil’s health is a legit question mark.
Shwin, Sean Williams clearly has talent. That’s not the question. He’s athletic and that’s something that is lacking in Jersey. I just don’t think he’ll get the minutes… yet.
Len-e – Good idea.

wade-conscious says:
I recently made a trade, dwight howard for dwayne wade. I could afford to do this since I had zach randolph, emeka okafor, and j.o. on my team. I’m just scared to my brains right now that wade might not be able to go back to his old glorious self if and when he comes back.
What you think doctor? I’m in a ten-team h2h league by the way.
