Gilbert Arenas’ Injury – The Fantasy Implications
WOW. Someone in your fantasy league is scrambling right now (quite possibly you). Agent Zero had surgery today to repair the same knee that he had repaired last season. Arenas will be out 3 months minimum. The Wizards don’t have a great backup plan. Antonio Daniels is really their only other option at the point (and should be picked up), but expect Nick Young, DeShawn Stevenson, and Andray Blatche to all have increased value. Let’s face it, though. If the Wizards want to make the playoffs, they have to bring someone in from the outside. Watch the trade situation very carefully.

I got Arenas as my first round pick in a Winner’s league, no less. Good thing I picked Daniels 3 days ago to prepare for the worst. Also, somehow I was able to trade for KG! :p

$hit! I had him on one of my fantasy teams; picked up Calderon who will be taking over for the injured T.J. Ford. If I was the GM for the Wizards, I’d pick up Earl Boykins! I CAN’T BELIEVE NO ONE HAS YET TO SIGN HIM UP! Crazy!
