The Beast of the East
We’re feeling pretty good about our decision to go with Dwight Howard as our cover subject for the current issue of Dime. We proclaimed him to be the “Beast of the East” and DH hasn’t let us down one bit, averaging more than 23 points and close to 15 boards per game so far this season. He’s been on a particular tear this past week, going for 34 and 16 against the Spurs and then ripping the Bobcats for 34 and 17 two nights later. And on top of everything, his team is good. It’s early still, but the Magic are right there with the Celtics as the best the Eastern Conference has to offer.
