Josh Childress - The Daily Fantasy jinx! We just mentioned how Childress was having a great week. He pulled his groin, but was pretty active cheering on his squad off the bench last night. That being said, Josh has never exactly been known for his toughness.

Daequan Cook/Marco Jaric - Someone asked the question last night if they should pick up either Marco Jaric or Daequan Cook. Cook had himself a night last night (20 points) and has clearly been one of the Heat’s positives this season. Jaric played a brilliant game with 18 points, 8 boards, 9 dimes and 2 game winners that didn’t end up being game winners. I think there is a real chance Jaric could have value this season where Cook is going to get the rookie treatment and will most likely be inconsistent.

Desagana Diop/Erick Dampier - If only they were one player. Check out their combined stats from last night’s game: 9 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 blocked shots. Dampier had 11 boards last night and 0 points. Isn’t that Diop’s role? As of now neither should be owned, although somewhere, some desperate fantasy soul has both Damp and Diop in their starting lineup.

Travis Outlaw - Outlaw is looking more and more legit. He’s coming off another quality night last night and has now scored at least 17 points in three straight and has nice rebounding numbers in each of those games. He’s also finding his range a little bit behind the arc. Pick him up.

Tim Thomas - One of my least favorite fantasy players is actually having a decent, under-the-radar season. Thomas’ minutes are consistent - twice this season he has played under 30 minutes. Before the other night against the Sonics (7 points), Thomas had scored double digits in 10 straight. Although is field goal percentage is low, he has 41 threes on the season, which is a very real number. I’m not saying he’s a must start but he should be owned in 100% of leagues and isn’t an awful start.

doc, i got offered kidd for hinrich and bynum. i know hinrich is off to an awful slow start, but bynum has been pretty solid for me all year. i do have boozer, wilcox, dalembert, blatche and brand (when he comes back) that can play the C position along with bynum and i sort of need help at the PG position…i have hinrich, rondo, andre miller, “boobie” and antonio daniels. what do you think about this deal? i also could pick up nene off of waivers after the deal goes through in order to replace the C position im losing with bynum on the 2 for 1 deal. please give me your thoughts…anyone. thanks guys.

Let’s get back to Hinrich cuz it is getting very difficult to keep him.

Should I cut him for Eddy Curry? (maybe Yi, Maxiell?)

Standard 9-category, Head to Head….My other PGs are Baron, Mo Williams, Boobie Gibson (& I have Lebron, so that helps assists)

My team is tearing it up but things are usually very close & can go either way for me in Points & Blocks. 3’s & Assists are usually locks for me, blocks also.

Any thoughts? I’m leaning towards Curry

  5. TeenWolf says:

    OOPS!

Sorry ya’ll I meant that its usually very close for me in Points & REBOUNDS. Not blocks, im fine in that category

    Help me out Doc

  6. laballer says:

  8. GSW HOOPS says:

I’ve got Arenas on my team and i want to trade him. Him being injured and all, how quality of another fantasy player can i get? Thanks

yo fantasy doc! i got an uncommon question for you and need your fantasy help hehe

we got some serious fights going on in our fantasy league, with guys refusing to speak, deep more-than-trash-talk, real hatred and guys laying down the commissioner position to others nobody knows, stuff like that, things that threaten the integrity of our beloved league. any words on that?

    peace :)

  10. len-e says:

    question 2
ignoring the question, wheter larry hughes should be starting in fantasy teams by the time, which player could be dropped for hughes (the upside is always intriguing)?

    jaric, murphy
which are clearly the only 2 droppable. (my las two weeks were 9-1’s hehe)

  11. MSkittle says:

What are your thoughts on dropping Ryan Gomes to pick up Yi Jianlian? Any advice on what I should do about Shaq?

  12. TeenWolf says:

U slackin Doc! Where u at??

Nah, just playing….but I ended up not dropping Hinrich for Curry, Hinrich’s safe…for now.

I did drop Okur for Greg Foster because I just can’t pass up all those rebounds. while Okur is bringing nothing to the table, & the little he is, I dont need.

Lemme know ur thoughts on Hinrich though…also what u thnk about Curry, Okur & Foster for a team that is okay with pts, could use REB & % help??

  13. TeenWolf says:

HAHAHA….JEFF Foster! Not Greg, remember him??!!
