Just wanted to let our readers know that Dime #38 should be popping up on newsstands everywhere this week – if not already. I’m proud to say that the issue is strong, complete with an in-depth interview with Shaq (that comes complete with a Shaq art-directed cover shoot), a day spent at Stephon Marbury‘s house where he fires back at his critics, Baron Davis’ old school video game hoopkup (he tried to re-create his old UCLA dorm room), and much, much more.

Tomorrow we’ll hit you with the behind-the-scenes video from the Shaq shoot, so make sure to come back around lunch time to see how the Diesel does it Godfather-style.

   If I am correct didn’t you all send out a survey asking for who should be on the cover.
   On the real I am trippin you all have Shaq on the cover. Was J.Kidd busy or something. I mean it’s good to see and hear from Shaq and all. Honestly though, what is he gone say that he hasn’t said. We know you got divorced, we know you think you still can play with the best of them, yadda yadda yadda.

   The cover is tight and all but when you all get J.Kidd and info. on what he is going and been through with a tight cover, that will be what’s up.

   Shaq is played.

   LOL what?? Oppose to Shaq’s denial of him and his team playing poorly, him being a police officer, his bad movies and t.v. shows, his old rap career, his shoes that no one wears anymore, him challenging Hakeem to a 1 on 1 on ppv after Hakeem took him through the torture chamber, or better yet why doesn’t he rehash that whole bit with Kobe. Man please! He needs to re-invent his game and him. Shaq could stand to get some triple-doubles so his team can win more too.
   To me Kidd would have been different and refreshing. Obvious some or happy with the old ho hum …emphasis on ho. I’m just saying DIME is suppose to give what others don’t give, Kidd would have been different… DIME would have been different.
