KD’s Air Flight Skool

If you’re like me, you’ve been watching Kevin Durant since his days at Texas. (Yeah, like that was a long time ago.) Once KD got picked up by Nike this summer, I was anxious to see what kind of kicks they would make for him … especially those using the Seattle Supersonic colorways.

Well, Nike never ceases to amaze me. The Kevin Durant’s, better known as the Air Flight Skool, are in the office and they are hot. The shoe is light as hell and has some really cool personal touches by Durant incorporated into the shoe. Besides KD’s initials, the inside of the shoe has his nickname, “K-Smoove.” (I wonder how Josh Smith feels about that?) And on a more sentimental note, there is a tribute to Kevin’s mother on the inside of the tongue: a postage stamp with her initials. While Kevin was growing up, his mom, Wanda Pratt, worked at a post office.

Definitely a hot debut shoe for the future All-Star.
