Tonight is the NBA’s version of a heavyweight title fight, as the two best players in the world, Kobe and LeBron, go at it in Cleveland. Today’s Press Enterprise has a mini preview that includes some stuff from Charles Barkley:

“If they say they aren’t looking forward to this game, don’t believe that,” Barkley said in a phone interview. “Everybody is looking forward to this game. We all looked forward to seeing Magic (Johnson) and Larry (Bird) when they played against each other. I know I want to see Kobe and LeBron … You know they both are going to be prepared.”

I think the Lakers will win. Kobe is playing well and his teammates seem to be metter than Bron’s teammates. I would much rather build a team around Lebron though. I think Bron is a better team player and his game is more team oriented. Kobe is by far the best offensively talented player in the league, maybe ever.

I told everyone Kobe is the Best in the league even charles knows it. But I guess that doesn’t mean too much.

tonight should be fun…kobe had rest since he did not play major minutes vs the bulls on tuesday….i say kobe goes for 35 tonight! should be fun!!!

  4. Mike C says:

I think Kobe will try to put on a show tonight, to make a splash. He was terrible shooting the ball last game and he always tries come back with a monster game after lackluster performances. Right around now is when he usually starts having 50+ games every year, so why wouldn’t he go for it against Bron on national TV? A must-see game tonight.

  5. Kobeef says:

Most are right that the Lake-show is looking stronger - but you can guarantee Lebron is going to have a hell of a game trying to get the win. This is must see TV if you are a fan of baketball.

  6. Bust Jlaze says:

Funny how people hesitate to say Kobe’s one of the best ever…they usually say he’s one of the best “offensive” players, as if he slacks on D. If you’re one of the best on both ends, what does that make you?

  7. Eddy Pena says:

Kobe is the best player in the nba, lebron is a very talented player but he is not on kobe’s level…….
