The Gym is open in Chicago

About a month ago we told you about Converse’s Open Gym Movement – a program where players of all ages can show up at certain gyms on designated dates and just play ball all day long. We were at the first Open Gym in Miami in November (complete with Dwayne Wade), there was one in Philly on Thursday (where Kyle Korver was running the show) and there’s a HUGE one in Chicago tomorrow.

The Chicago Open Gym is being held at the Attack Center, the super-gym run by MJ‘s former personal trainer, Tim Grover. The facility is bananas (four full courts, a perfect, brand new floor, a serious weight room and pretty everything else a player would ever want).

If you’re around and have interest in playing ball at the first Chicago Open Gym, here’s the info:

Sessions

Session 1 (12-14 yr. old): 10:00am to 12:00pm
Session 2 (12-14 yr. old): 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Session 3 (15-17 yr. old): 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Session 4 (18+): 4:00pm to 6:00pm


** If you are under 18 you need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to compete a waiver form before you can participate.
