Photo. Steve HillAfter watching Indiana’s Eric Gordon destroy Michigan last night, we hit up DraftExpress.com this morning to see what they had to say about him in terms of playing at the next level.
We actually think they shoot a little low in terms of his expectations, when they say that best case scenario for him is to be the next Randy Foye. Now, Foye has barely had the chance to show what he can do, but we still think Gordon has the chance to be special, maybe even better than Derrick Rose at the next level. Although the physical comparison to Foye is pretty on point.

To me, he looks like D-Wade with range, but not as quick.
But then again, I only saw him play two times and it was on TV, so I might be wrong..
Rose reminds me somewhat of Wade too.. or a bigger AI with a pass first mentality.

He is a shooter but can he run a team from the point? In the NBA guys who are 6′4 really need to be able to play PG to go high in the draft - otherwise you are an undersized SG and are going to get shut down by all the 6-6 and 6-7 Sg’s in the league…some execptions apply (Wade..who can play PG).
Derrick Rose is a better athlete and playmaker than Gordon and should probably go higher as a result - that said - Gordon is probably still top 5 in the draft which is nothing to laugh at..

I don’t know about better than Rose (I think he’s going to be special, top flight PG, which is always more valuable than a 2 or 3) but I definitely think he’ll be better than Randy Foye (I like Foye a lot.)

thats a joke…no disrepect to randy foye because he has a chance to be a solid nba player…but with the way gordon has played not just his scoring how good his shooting percentages are…he is going to have a chance to be a big time scorer in the league…give him a few years and i think he should be putting up around 25ppg…the guys going to be special

Yo listen up iam tires of you stupid ignorant fans ok Derrick Rose is good but DO NOT DO NOT COMPARE him to Dwayne Wade,,D-wade is a very fundamental Player that shots of backboard plays with no Flash and fancyness and he is mature Rose is his own player he is not fundamental he does not have mid range game and he seems quick but he really isn’t don’t get me wrong he is real real good but not Dwayne Wade level he won’t get the T-wolves or the NY KNicks to the playoffs next year Erick Gordon is the same he is OWN player he also doesn’t have mid range game he can shoot 3’s and he is athletic no YOUNG PLAYER can shoot mid range and play with fundamentals that’s the problem with the game PEACE100
