ESPN reported a little while ago that the Bulls have shut down Luol Deng for a “significant period of time” due to a sore left Achilles. It goes on to say that Coach Jim Boylan clarified that “significant period of time” means weeks, not days.
This is probably one of the worst things that could happen to Chicago right now. Not only do they lose a key player, they also are without prime trade bait, unless another team isn’t worried about the injury…
