(Almost) Daily Fantasy
Randy Foye - If you haven’t picked him up, someone else probably has. It’s unclear how consistent he’ll be because really, nobody is very consistent in Minnesota with the exception of Big Al. That being said, Foye is going to have everyone opportunity to be the man in the second half of this season.
Leon Powe – 25 and 11 last night and for the first time in his NBA career, Powe looked like an NBA big man. The problem is, he’s still only about 6’7″. Unless there are serious injuries in Beantown, Powe is not an option.
Caron Butler - Ouch. Maybe the most valuable player in fantasy (especially based on his draft position), Butler is out for a couple of games with a hip injury. Roger Mason, Andray Blatche (nice night last night), are the short time benefactors.
Royal Ivey - I told you not to grab him right? He’s doing his best to prove me wrong. I’m still not a believer, but that’s 3 consecutive double digit scoring games. I’d still take a pass though.

Fantasy Doc, help me out with a couple players: Q, Tony Allen, Damon Stoudamire, & Bargnani. I’d like a short term view on these ballers, but also who you think will be most valuable if kept for the entire year. Appreciate the input. Thanks again.

Not Fantasy Doctor says:
Do you really have to pick one of those guys up? If you absoultely have to, bargnani has the most potential even though he’s one of the most inconsistent players this year.
If Damon goes to the spurs, he might have temporary value while tony parker is out. Temporary

Hey Doc,
What’s the prognosis on Kirilenko’s sorta-slumping stats? Is he dealing with an injury of some sorts? He went from block-machine to occasional-nice-stats.
Thanks.

Dummy, Not Fantasy Doctor hit it perfectly. Nice work.
Flyp, honestly, he’s probably just hitting a little bit of a wall. He’ll be fine after the much needed All Star break.

Unfortunately, I’ve been working with one open bench spot for a few weeks now. It’s a 16 man league with a thin starting lineup (8) and deep bench (6); that being said, the options I listed aren’t that bad
Fantasy Doc, when are we gonna get some 2nd half pickups or other fantasy articles coming out (players to avoid in the 2nd half)? I know everyone could use a little more fantasy in their lives
