The nets have absolutely NO HEART. They are quitters, and you can tell that from their 3 veteran leards (Cough: quitters).

Jason Kidd (After loss to detroit): "We're just not that good of a team. We shouldnt beat detroit".

RJ (after hearing of Pierce's comments that he thinks the Nets will be around 50 wins and the 4 seed by seasons end): "Well, our offense isnt very good. We're not a good team right now, especially on offense."

AND NOW THIS QUOTE ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER THE BLAZERS ARE!!!! The blazers are the youngest team in the NBA, I understand that without Krstic (Nets version of Aldridge) we are shorthanded, but with Boone and Williams we CAN get it done....... but we just QUIT last night. We cut it to 12 with about 8 minutes left, then Portland hit two 3pointers and we just quit. Ended up losing by 30 (Meanwhile the Wizards fight back from down 14 with 6 minutes left behind their leader/franchise player Caron Butler and win..... You wont hear Caron saying "Boston is just better, blah blah blah Im a quitter" like these chumps!!!! And we were at home, against a mid-level playoff team that is extremely young. THEY WERE ON THE ROAD AGAINST THE BEST TEAM IN BASKETBALL THAT IS INVINCIBLE AT HOME! NO QUIT FOR THEM, MUCH QUIT FOR US!!!!! The Wizards are without Gilbert and we're without Krstic, we're both right there about 3 games behind the Wiz...... they dont give up, they have HEART. THAT is the difference!!!!

AND then theres Vince Carter. Vince just doesnt say nothing because he doesnt care (And doesnt try, or play hard. Has no heart at all.).

The Nets are pathetic.

Desrat--

Nate McMillan is the clear choice for COY award. Good things happen to good people and he is deserving. Seattle tried to bring him back as coach, but Nate wanted to leave Seattle and try a new destination. I thought he should have stayed in Seattle and the Blazers should have gotten Terry Porter from Milwaukee. But I was wrong.

Portland did well in the draft. 2yrs ago, they had the worse record in the league, but didn't get the #1 pick. They got #4 (Brandon Roy). So...I was not upset (like Jerry West) when Portland got the #1 pick for this years draft; even though they did not have the worst record.

As for Seattle, please let me/us know what is going on with the team/franshise and possible relocation (if you are familiar with the situation). As an outside like me hears it, the Sonics want a new building (I thought Key Arena was new in itself!) and if they don't get it; they're relocating to another city. Is that the reasoning?

Nate McMillan should get coach of the year. The start of Seattle's down fall was not bringing Mr. Seattle himself back after the last playoff run. McMillan is a stand up human being, and I really, really , like the job he has done with the Trail Blazers. Mr. Allen, consider yourself lucky to have such a man in your employ. The Blazers had a bit of luck in putting this together (ROY and then get first round with an Oden in there!!?? They should take some of that to Vegas!). If Stern keeps pall’n around with Bennett and the Pacific Northwest loses the Sonics then at least they will have the Blazers. If the Blazers keep McMillan they will be a tough team to deal with for years to come.
