dallas made the finals that season
1. luck vs spurs alot of it
2. j.howard became an allstar that season
3. terry played out of his mind that postseason
4. dirk looked like a man till the finals

The award is called MVP, not Defensive Player of the Year.
That no defense argument is weak now, was weak last month , will be weak next year.
Nash ain’t the only dude that CP3 has lit up this season, catchin 28 from CP3 ain’t that bad cuz he’s put up 40 TWICE on other points.

Well, Shawn Marion has been doing his thing since before Nash got to Phoenix… and Joe Johnson is even better now than he was with the Suns… but never mind. If Nash could play any defense, maybe he would have even deserved those two MVPs. (Rather than making Chris Paul look like one…)

And that’s why it’s dangerous to use team W-L to judge players – it can be just as deceiving as individual stats.

Richie Frahm banged one? Should I start stockpiling canned goods and water?

Myrie is pretty dumb to say that Nash makes teams worse when everyone in the Suns had career stats after he arrived. It’s not a fluke to win MVP twice. Kidd is one of the greatest points guards, but he’s not the type of player to take the final shot.
Saying that the Mavericks are a better team without Nash is an even stupider comment. The Mavericks are now the highest paid team in the league.
Ian obviously knows basketball, so Myrie be a good girl and stick to WNBA.

but nash had nothing in those 90s suns teams
the 2000s suns have won more games way moreeeee way moreeee with nash than with kidd and marbury

ok i went back and added everything and dallas has only won 5 more games than the suns the last three seasons and nash missed amare one whole season…. wait what the fuck im i doing that isnt the point of the post myrie
it shows wins and losses and nash is very well over 500 but it should only be done with good players just in case not player like luc longley

What are you trying to say? Some players are just losers?…ie Marbury? Hahahehelol. We already know this. Maybe they can put players W-L records on the back of their trading cards.

Using your formula….Jason Kidd is a winner, Stephon Marbury is not. Using your formula, Marbury’s teams get worse when he plays (W-L wise) and better when he leaves. No argument here. Your formula is proof.

Consider using that formula on Steve Nash. Yup…2-time MVP Nash.

Phoenix drafted Nash, traded him to Dallas and Dallas got worse. A stinker team. Phoenix was in the playoffs without Nash.

Fastforward to present day…..Dallas lets Stevie leaves as a free agent, and 2yrs later their in the NBA Finals. 3yrs later and they’re winning 67 reg season games (5th best in league history).

Sticking to your formula…..would you say Nash is a loser and his teams get better once he leaves? Hmmm….
