What’s In the Box?

2008 marks Converse‘s 100th anniversary. For a century the brand has been connected to basketball, from the invention of the All-Star shoe in 1917 and the African-American barnstorming teams of the 1920s and 1930s, all of the way through to the birth of the NBA and Dwyane Wade, Converse has been with hoop since the beginning.
So to coincide with the official start the “Converse Century,” I received a piece of history in the mail today from our Converse crew - a pair of limited edition, Black Fives All Star Revolution kicks that link back to those barnstorming squads of the 20s and 30s and the famed Chuck Taylor All Stars.

Good looking out…
The kicks are available now for $175 at select specialty retailers.
