As always, leave your proposed trades, pick ups, and other fantasy problems in the comments box.
Chris Webber - There is no way, no how I’m a believer that Chris Webber is going to be a mainstay in Nellie’s rotation and play “30 minutes” a night. Remember, Don Nelson also told us that Marco Belinelli was going to start and play 45 minutes a night. When was the last time someone had him on a roster? That being said, Webber’s going to be in the rotation and like everyone in G-State, he will have good nights and bad nights. He should be owned, but don’t be mad if it’s not by you.
T.J. Ford - I was impressed that Ford came back and immediately played almost 20 minutes. Like I said, he should be good to start next week.
Robert Swift - I’m serious when I say this: Pick up Swift sooner rather than later. Maybe not right now, but I guarantee you, as soon as Swift is healthy enough and in good enough shape he’ll be starting for the Sonics. He made his return last night and played 5 minutes.
Joe Smith - He’s battling the flu and injuries but he looked back last night scoring 25 and grabbing 9 boards. He’s not a bad reserve. When he gets the minutes, he is actually pretty consistent.
Josh Childress - Ever since I said that Childress is doing “just enough” to deserve a roster spot, he’s actually been playing great ball. He’s played four straight games of 30-minutes plus, which is what he needs to be at to have starter’s value.
Pau Gasol - Not only is he playing tonight… He’s starting. Looking forward to seeing really strong numbers from Gasol the rest of the way.

What about my man ‘Bassy!
12 assists last night and 0 turnovers. He is averaging almost 9 assists and less than 1 turnover over his last 3 games!

Adam,
You should also add Lebron James if he is still available in your league! I have many more good tips to come.

Is this column supposed to be pick up players from the waiver? Didn’t think so

The Fantasy Doctor says:
It’s funny. I thought about Telfair for today’s column. He looked very good last night. Like he got it. He had a couple sick passes. Then I looked at his game log and it isn’t great. Keep an eye on him though. I will.
Rudy, Deron Williams for Iggy. It’s very fair. Just depends on what you need.
Adam and Not Fantasy DBag - This column is to make you more aware. It’s to help with trades, pick ups, evaluating players, injuries, trends etc. Gasol going from being traded to missing his debut with the back injury to starting immediately deserved mentioning. Nothing else and nothing more.
Sonic Saint - I’m a believer in trading T-Mac for value anytime you can.

who will have more value for the near future?
Josh Boone, Stromile Swift, Kurt Thomas, Joe Smith…nobody jumps out at u, but can u maybe rank them?
trying to round out my bench players, I got a couple spots to play with (& call me crazy, but Webber is holding one down until he upsets me!)

The Fantasy Doctor says:
AT2 - Not awful… but not getting quite enough.
Beantown - Joe Smith and Kurt Thomas. Nothing after that right now.
Sonic Saint - It’s close. I might do the deal. Rudy Gay has a much better chance of staying healthy.
