As the relationship between the Sacramento Kings and Ron Artest appears to deteriorate, rumors of where he’ll be traded to before the deadline on the 21st seem to pop up almost every day, with the Denver Nuggets being mentioned a lot in those rumors. Dave Kreiger of the Rocky Mountain News delivers a pretty convincing argument today as to why a trade for Ron-Ron would pretty much be the worst decision the team ever made.
Even if it makes no sense money-wise or even basketball-wise, there’s no doubt that squad would be one of the most entertaining/intimidating teams ever, right?

I disagree with that. The Nuggets could do Nene for Ron straight up and I think both sides take that deal.

problem is if you trade away Nene, who backs up Camby and Martin? I mean, behind those guys they are short with the “bigs”. They’ll need a healthy Nene to board against Bynum, Shaq, Duncan, etc…

Ron Artest is not the answer for Denver. They need a defensive perimeter player from the point guard position (eric snow?)M they need a reliable 3pt shooter and a defensive big to come off the bench.
