As always, leave your questions in the fantasy comments box.
Roger Mason - Roger Mason probably hasn’t earned a spot on your fantasy roster yet, but he’s certainly positioned himself to stick around the League and earn consideration for a pick up. The Wizards are dealing with all sorts of injuries right now. With Arenas, Butler, and Antonio Daniels out, and Deshawn Stevenson playing hurt, Roger Mason and Nick Young have been playing huge minutes. When Mason has received big minutes he has produced, like last night’s 32 points, 5 threes, and 6 dimes. He is not a true point guard and the Wizards’ injury situation should drastically improve after the break, but if you’re in a daily league, Mason has one more nice game ahead of him. If you’re in a weekly or roto league, Mason should be on your radar in case of continued injuries in D.C.
Desmond Mason - There is a very good chance that Desmond Mason is a free agent and I’m sure you could do much worse than to grab him for a bench spot or a spot starter. Mason’s minutes seem to be back. He’s played 30+ the past three games and put up decent lines each night. Last night he had 14 and 7.
Louis Scola - Scola is an interesting case. His minutes still aren’t where you’d like them to be as a fantasy owner. Even though he is starting, he rarely plays over 30 minutes a night. That being said, last night he played 32 and he has 4 straight games of double digit scoring and high single digit rebounding numbers. The Rockets are playing great ball and Scola is a part of it. I like him right now as a pick up for the second half of the season.

Here’s my team in a 14-team H2H, where I am getting killed due to injuries:
Alston
TJ Ford
Arenas
Kev Martin
Redd
Gay
Josh Smith
Al Harrington
Chris Wilcox
J O’Neal
Would you do any of these trades, and which one (if any)?
1) Redd/Gay for Kobe
2) KMart/Gay for Kobe
3) Gay/Harrington/Redd or KMart for Kobe/Okur
Thanks!

The Kid says:
Malik, I would stick with Darko… GHill will either get hurt or have limited minutes during your fantasy playoffs, whereas Darko will be a double-double during playoffs.
If anything, I would try to trade Darko for someone who hits 3’s, since outside of Mike Miller, you don’t have anyone who hits the 3 consistently.

Not Fantasy Doctor says:
Malik… you must not have many managers in your league. instead of dealing someone like darko, you should be dealing one of your top players like josh smith, gerald wallace, or ak47 because you are loaded in the block category. try to trade for someone that can score or a tier one pg. you just need to balance your team out better.
The Kid, first of all, unless there’s someone that you really want from the free agency, you shouldn’t do a 2 fo 1 deal for kobe. you mentioned that you are getting killed due to injuries, but you are trying to trade your healthy players away. that’s not going to help you. i really hope that jermaine oneal will come back for you. goodluck

Malik says:
Yeah I figured I would lose out on the 3s category, but that would be the only one. Ive been #1 in the league since it started, had a few close games, but won every one. Everyone wants Josh or Gerald so Im sure I can get a top player for them. Thanks for the advice guys keep it up.

Also, I was offered D-Will and Gasol for Boozer and Joe Johnson. Should I pull the trigger? Thanks.
