Sebastian Telfair - Telfair’s scoring numbers are still inconsistent, but Bassy has turned a corner in his career. He has learned to become a playmaker and to use some of his talents on an NBA floor. These are things that, if you watched him in Boston, did not show up very often. Last night Telfair put up 24 and 7. His assist numbers have been real and have been much more consistent of late. For teams needing assists, he’s not a bad pick up at all.
Mark Blount - Forget the points - Blount has a real offensive game - it’s the boards that we really like seeing. In last night’s overtime loss Blount had 13 boards and 18 points. I’ve said this for a bit now: you can do much worse than Blount as a second or third center.
J.R. Smith - JR Smith has always had tremendous talent. Few players have both the athletic ability and outside shooting ability that Smith has. If you’re a hoop fan, you know that Smith has had his share of problems with consistency both on and off and the court. Last night’s 28 points and 8 threes were a sign of Smith’s talents, but he’s still far away from a pick up.
Dorell Wright - He’s officially doing it consistently. How is he only owned in about 35% of leagues? PICK HIM UP. 19 and 8 last night.
Hakim Warrick - 24 and 13 are solid numbers for Warrick’s first post-Gasol start. I’m still not a believer that he can keep it up and I see him more as an energy guy off the bench at this point in his career. That being said, there aren’t that many options in Memphis and he is definitely worth a look.
Marquis Daniels - With both Tinsley and now Diener most likely out for tonight’s game, Marquis Daniels is going to see extended run at the point guard spot. Andre Owens will also get run, but I see Daniels putting up big numbers tonight if you happen to be in a daily league.

Pretty interresting, but i disagree with a lot of those players especially JR Smith. Very inconsistent ! Any decent shooter who jacks up 3’s can have a good day.

What impact on Marcus Williams will the Jason Kidd trade do? I mean NJ is going to get Devin Harris. I thought Williams was supposed to be the next leader of that squad.

The Fantasy Doctor says:
I know Williams hasn’t been playing much of late, but if the trade goes through, he’s a legit threat for stats.
And I wouldn’t worry about Haslem. He’s still the third best player on the Heat.

The Fantasy Doctor says:
That being said… 2 winners of this deal -
Devin harris - points going to go up.
Dirk - he’s going to get easiest buckets of his life.

Ey I don’t know about yáll but afte all these years I still wanna see LeBron play with Bassy
I still think cleveland should’ve drafted him or josh smith in ‘04 when they had the chance. F#ck Luke Jackson he’s a great shooter but he isn’t athletic enough to play the pick&roll game and the coming of picks and shooting fast style played in the NBA. The cavs missed out. Lebron was lobying for bassy back then. Too bad
