Ced Ceballos. Chris Jackson. Kenny Smith. Clarence Weatherspoon. David Benoit. Skinny Barkley, Likable Isiah and Young Shaq. But this night in ‘93 belonged to Harold Miner. Notice how at the end, the announcers talk about how many commercials Baby Jordan was gonna get from the Dunk Contest win. We don’t remember seeing any. Do you?

harold miner, the dunker, was pretty awesome. harold miner, the basketball player, was not so good. too much pressure was put too much too soon on his shoulders since college (USC trojans was it?) where he was dominating boys than men. i the end he is just another sad sob story in the nba.

yup..you had one up the other day (he’s in throwback MJ commercial). On the low for a yar or two he had a few commercials. Then the games began and Madison Ave. saw that he couldn’t ball.

Some of those dunks were nice, but most of them were pretty average. The degree of difficulty was pretty low back then. If they pulled those dunks today, they wouldn’t even crack 40 and the crowd would be booing them.
