If I Was a Gambling Man…
If I was a gambling man, which I’m of course not, I’d bet on the following NBA games for tonight…

I’d take the BOBCATS (-2.5) over the Nets – The Nets are very bad.
I’d take the Trail Blazers (+9) over the PISTONS – It’s the first game of a road trip and the Blazers will come out strong.
I’d take the Celtics (-5) over the TIMBERWOLVES – No KG (even though he is traveling with the team), but the C’s are too good to let the Wolves stay with them for two straight games.
*I’d take the Sonics (+13.5) over the SUNS – The Sonics are playing much better and the Suns are figuring out life post Marion. Too many points.
I’d take the Wizards (+11) over the NUGGETS – Even without Caron Butler, the Wizards have proven that they have too much pride to get smashed on the road by the Nuggets. I like this one the least though.

- no KG = Perkins and Powe getting destroyed by Big Al
- Bassy can outplay Rondo, who by the way is never going to be a top 5 PG and is benefitting from the Shaq-effect (Superstars make mediocre players look good, see: Manu Ginobili, Rob Horry, Mark Madsen, Tony Kuckoc, Daniel Gibson, and as Shaq suggests, Raja Bell is next in line)
