The Jordan CP (Pt. II)
Jordan CPLast month we gave you a sneak peek of the Jordan CP, the first signature shoe for Jordan Brand’s newest signee, Chris Paul. Dropping March 1, it makes Chris just the third athlete in the Jordan fam other than Mike himself to have his own signature sneaker: ‘Melo and Derek Jeter are the others.
“Having my very own sneaker has been a childhood dream,” Paul said in a company press release. “The Jordan CP exceeds all of my on-court needs and this was a great chance for me to design a shoe that reflects my inspirations in life and share it with the world.”
That includes the “61″ etched in the shoe to honor his late grandfather and the “SP” on the tongue for late Wake Forest coach Skip Prosser. There’s also the bowling pin configuration on the ankle as a nod to CP’s favorite pastime, and other design elements inspired by the Mardi Gras Indian tribe, the city of New Orleans and the Hornets.

It’s been a looooong time since Jordan put out some nice kicks…tru they aren’t his signature number shoes, but still this is a sexy looking sneaker. LOL tough that it’s not on my pay week, til next week all.
