Durant will be cut out to be The Man one day. I wish the Sonics hadn’t traded Ray; they could have brought Durant in slowly, like the Raptors brought in T-Mac when they already had Vince to be The Man.

Isn’t this the triangle vs. pick and roll. I think I got to go with the tri.

Must admit these trades have pumped the NBA up.

Side-bar: Might be just GEE, but Kevin Durant would make a much better 2nd option as a player than a first. Sort of like a Manu roll for a bigger player. I think it would be less pressure and he would progress better and more. I don’t think he is cut to carry a team.

phoenix helped out grant hill and he was truly broken, they probably will get shaq back in shape quickly as well. dont matter though pistons in 6 in the finals sheep mvp just squatting on shaq.

Good point Austin. If the Cavs had Shaq they would be better than they are with Z for sure. I think the Lakers win but Shaq is still good I say he’s definitely at least a top 10 big man still in the game

Shaq, 10 pts, 10 rebs, 5 ast. Stat, 30-8 …Kobe 34-5-6. I prefer Suns to win but i think Lakers 105-102.

Kobe will do his thing, but unless Pau, Odom, etc jumpers are falling I don’t see the Lakers winning.
Shaq at his decline is still better than Curry, Big Z, and other “big men.” Also, part of Shaq’s problem is not getting the ball where he’s effective. The Suns have excellent passers and they are going to be looking to prove tonight, esp. Nash, that this trade was a great idea.

Expect Shaq to have a lot of easy looks and the Suns to get the W, although Kobe & maybe Gasol will make it competitive (and Fish if he starts hitting from behind the arc).

Shaq will do the windmill at midcourt before tipoff and call Kobe out. Kobe will then in turn backslide to center court and do the Robot and let Shaq know that he has been served!

Kobe gives Raja and Grant work. Kobe locks up Barbosa as he did on Team USA. Kobe scores 33 in a win as it looks like the Lakers are the better transition team and Shaq doesn’t prove to be that big a difference with the Lakers.

Shaq starts but gets limited burn, but pulls down 8 boards 3 offensive. He ends up with 9 and 8 in limited minutes.
