Thanks for That

IMAGE DESCRIPTIONLeBron (Photo. Mannion)

LeBron thanked the Bulls for improving his title chances at the trade deadline by stealing another piece of their team yesterday. After the Bulls had fought for three quarters to grab the lead, then extended it to eight points with 10 minutes remaining, LeBron put on the cape and went to work. He drove the stake through Chicago’s heart with a dunk in traffic where ‘Bron could have put a sticker on the glass on level with Dwight Howard’s. The final damage: 37 points, 6 boards, 6 assists … Chicago had gone ahead at the end of the third with a 10-0 run, capped by a Larry Hughes-to-Tyrus Thomas half-court lob. After the play you could see Ty and Hughes actually smiling. Minus some of Joakim Noah’s out-to-lunch moments, that might have been the first time we’ve seen anyone affiliated with the Bulls smile all season … While Hughes (23 pts) got buckets against his former team, Drew Gooden’s double-double was about as empty as they come. The positives of Drew’s 11-point, 10-board outing were wiped out by the missed layups, the clumsiness in the paint and the passes he whistled into the stands. Ben Wallace (who apparently did not get a Cavs-colored version of his Big Ben Starburys) had 7 points, 8 boards and 2 blocks against the franchise he was supposed to take over the hump that is now being crushed under the hump … Delonte West — already battling Big Z for status as Cleveland’s second-best player — pulled a Manu move on Kirk Hinrich, giving him the drive-left, behind-the-back-dribble-right, lefty pull-up jumper … When he’s not rocking the braids, Shannon Brown looks a lot like Chris BrownKobe looked irritated/angry just walking into the locker room in street clothes hours before Lakers/Mavs. Or you could say he was just focused. Whatever it was, Kobe was locked in the entire game. With 1:19 left in the fourth, he got hammered by Erick Dampier and converted the three-point play. Then after committing a critical turnover on L.A.’s next possession, Kobe made up for it by stripping Dirk and getting the Lakers the ball back. And when Lamar Odom bricked both free throws, Kobe out-witted Brandon Bass for the offensive board. Back by chants of “M-V-P!” Kobe went to the line and drained both freebies to make it a three-point game with six seconds left … Under normal circumstances that would put L.A. in very good position to ice it, assuming they foul Dallas and not allow a three-pointer. But since Phil Jackson apparently doesn’t believe in that philosophy (so says Jeff Van Gundy), Jason Kidd and Dirk ran a perfect inbound give-and-go to get Dirk an open three. Buckets. Overtime … So down by three with 15 seconds left in OT, the Mavs went to Kidd (15 pts, 11 asts, 4 stls), and the Lakers AGAIN didn’t foul. At least not on purpose. When Kidd got to the basket with no resistance, he got popped on the head by Pau Gasol and converted the layup. Upon hearing the whistle, Gasol sank to his knees like he’d just lost the kids’ college money at the track. But Kidd short-armed the free throw, Kobe sank his shots at the line, and Dallas had another chance, down three with 9 seconds left. And AGAIN the Lakers didn’t foul, but this time Dirk (30 pts, 13 rebs) air-balled a three, and Odom hit the one free throw he needed to seal it … Kobe ended up with 52 points and 11 boards. Funny how whenever Kobe has a monster game or a hot shooting streak, no one mentions the pinky finger. But when he’s missing shots (or free throws like he was early yesterday), the announcers blame the finger. It’s like Kobe has a built-in excuse for the rest of the season. At one point he was 3-for-10 from the stripe — when talk of the pinky surfaced — and then knocked down his next 17 straight … Van Gundy called Violet Palmer a “very good” ref (to which we know a lot of players and coaches would disagree), but then added that “the other one” wasn’t good. And just in case you didn’t catch exactly who JVG was talking about, he said, “She cost me a game in Cleveland one time.” … Not sure why so many people were acting like the Rockets beating Washington and Memphis without Yao was a big deal, but knocking off the Nuggets last night — while only giving up 89 points in the process — was pretty damn impressive. T-Mac went for 22 points and 6 dimes, and Shane Battier scored 20, but the story of the day was defense. A.I. and ‘Melo went from smoking the Clippers the other night to the tune of 30-something apiece to being held to 14-for-39 shooting (35 percent) and 36 points between them … If you remember a while back, Gilbert Arenas went on national TV promising he’d be back on the court for the Wizards’ March 2 game against the Hornets. No dice. Gil and Caron were still sidelined last night, but the Wiz managed to blow out N.O. regardless. As bad as Washington looked when Arenas and Butler went down at the end of last season and missed the playoffs, it’s a wonder they haven’t fallen apart with all the injuries this year. Props to Jamison and DeShawn Stevenson for stepping their game up, and Eddie Jordan for really earning his money … Still coming off the bench — but playing almost twice as many minutes as starter Marcus WilliamsDevin Harris put up 21 points in a loss to San Antonio. Makes sense, though, ’cause Harris is one of the few people in the League fast enough to stay with Tony Parker. But TP still went off for 25 points, 8 boards and 7 assists … When we were in New Orleans for All-Star break, we saw Ryan Hollins wandering the streets about four times, and every time someone in the group mistakenly thought Hollins was Jamario Moon. So it was kind of weird yesterday to see Hollins wearing Moon like a doppleganger coat when he dunked on his head in the Bobcats win over Toronto … Mike Dunleavy hit for 36 for the second straight game. OK, so those scoring outputs came against the Raptors and Bucks defenses, but that’s still impressive … This Chris Webber debacle in the Bay is becoming almost comical. C-Webb started again last night in Golden State’s win over Portland, but disappeared after the first few minutes. Seriously, he only played 8 minutes all night. We’re at a point where Austin Croshere is clearly a better player than Webber, and the team is visibly worse when he’s on the floor. We can’t think of a reason why the Warriors shouldn’t pull the plug … We’re out like stopping Dunleavy …

Lebron is the favorite to win mvp for taking a mediocre team at best, on his shoulders. It doesn’t help him that they play in the weaker conference. I don’t like kobe; I don’t hate kobe. I respect him enough that I can say he is the best player in the NBA right now. Kobe is gonna win his 1st mvp trophy based on last night’s game alone.

  4. YOUNGFED says:

Kobe was the one who put on the supa-man cape last nite not lebron. Hate to say it but the Chris Weber pick was the was transaction ever, even worst than the retired VanHorn return.

    I’m out like C-Dubbs minutes.

30.3/8.1/7.5 How the hell is lebron averaging these numbers this much into the season? I’ve underestimated lebron. When he was putting up these numbers at the beginning of the season I just hated and said he’d cool off, but damn. this kid is outta control right now.

How far into the playoffs do you guys think cleveland can go?

  7. chance says:

“Kobe was the one who put on the supa-man cape last nite not lebron. Hate to say it but the Chris Weber pick was the was transaction ever, even worst than the retired VanHorn return.”

i agree youngfed… unless keith van wuss really DOES suit up for the nets.

shit he could make it to the finals again
but with the same results if they get the spurs

hey what does dime mean when it says Lebron stole another piece of their (the Bulls) team last night?

    another piece = a win?

“Hate to say it but the Chris Weber pick was the was transaction ever, even worst than the retired VanHorn return.”

Yeah, i catch the box scores and just trying to figure out why the hell they signed him. Only maybe another body to chuck at like Shaq, Yao (when healthy), Duncan etc etc

  14. YOUNGFED says:

Even thats not gonna happen because C-Dubb would foul out in the 1st 8 minutes FD. (LOL)

  15. bigdre says:

man i remember back in oakland when the fans were literally killing mikey d jr. they even got a website just to diss him from game to game. they gotta be even more pissed now with jr with him playing up to his potential in indy.

man, you guys at dime really hate big slow guys. yao and big z get dissed everytime on smack. delonte ain’t even close to Z

  16. Smitty313 says:

Kobe should be MVP. He has his team at the top of the west. Lebron’s squad would not even make the playoffs if he were in the west. Lebron if he is going to go back to the finals, he’s going to have to do even more than he’s doing now to beat the Pistons. Kobe put up 52 in the game of the day. Somehow it seemed like they gave Lebron all the love. He put on his cape. Kobe must have came to the game with his on already.

  17. Smitty313 says:

Must be nice to be Chris Webber he still makes 19 million this year from Philly from his buy out. You can look it up at this link. http://hoopshype.com/salaries/philadelphia.htm

  18. Dave says:

Sad to see CWebb go out like this. I gotta say, though, for a multimillionaire who plays a game for a living, he hasn’t looked like he’s been having fun the last couple of years. Look at his facial expressions now, and compare them to the joyful Webb who came out of Michigan. Big difference. Wonder if Tyra can help him out….

  19. Celts Fan says:

bigdre, GS got Stephen Jackson in that trade and dumped that deal on the Pacers (w/ Troy Murphy’s equally terrible deal) and it’s not like Dunleavy’s putting up those #s in wins.

  20. DJ Leon Smith says:

To interpolate a quote from a deceased legend: Kobe is good, but LeBron is for the children.

  21. steve says:

yo big sia u 4gt Van horne prolly have to take MJ off hte list for him

hed still get buckets in NJ, even though now he sleeps all day.
btw Lakers are dangerous but no one knows what shaq is capable in the playoffs, maybe nothing maybe everything thats why hes…dangerous

  22. Hollowhustla says:

CWebb’s not making $19 mil, but his salary is still counted against the cap in Philly. His buy-out was less than the $19 mil

  23. Dennis Castro says:

Dave, I’m loving the way C-Webb is going out. He’s a punk. He punked his way out of Philly when the going got tough and he’s the ultimate loser. He’ll never win anything.

He couldn’t even win if he was on Dancing With the Stars, which is where he’s inevitably headed.

  24. E$ says:

the media acts like Lebron is the only show in town….*sigh*

  25. for real says:

lakers ain’t gonna do shit. that’s the truth. Once they get down 2-1 or 2-0 in a series, Greedy Bryant will start goin’ for 50 every time and they’ll be closed out quick. I really don’t see them doin’ much. Suns are done. Mavs will fold. Jazz, Rockets, Hornets, Warriors all have no chance. It will be Spurs vs. Pistons/Celtics in the Finals and that’s just the real

  26. rlf says:

honestly? lebron put on a cape? come on know, he was playing the bulls, don’t over play what he did, please. you don’t have credibility when you make those comments.

kobe might have and excuse(pinkie) but he is not using it at all.

oh and by the way, kobe is the one that put on a ‘cape’ he played DALLAS not the bulls, the lakers would’ve won against the bulls by 30.

and stop with your propaganda that kobe is angry all the time, he is focused and he has been the same way all the time.

it shows you guys have ‘business’ with lebron.

  27. YOUNGFED says:

Castro you can’t talk about C-Dubb like that he’s from the D. E$ you know Lebron is the new NBA poster boy or to qoute Sheed, “The NBA’s little Darling.” Plus Kobe can’t be it anymore after he sodomized that chick from Colorado (LOL).

I’m out like Kobe in Colorado wit KY (LMAO)

  28. word says:

    LMAO @ Chris brown

really question is: whose better Lebron or Kobe?, (good point about the finger.)

and I’m not even going to start with the Bulls bullshit trades.

Kidd played hard yesterday and Violet Palmer calls are for sure unquestionable.

I was surprised to see N.O. lose though.

  29. João says:

    Lebron - 30,3ptos/8,1rebs/7,5assist/48%
    Kobe - 28,2ptos/6,1rebs/5,4assist/46%

Kobe supporting cast is 1000% better than Bron. I dont now, but for me Bron deserve most, but I think that Kobe will win. And what about KG, no love for the best player on the best team ? peace.

  30. Hollowhustla says:

CWebb’s buyout was a big payday, but it was over 2 yrs. I think he got something like $35 mil. He was earning like $38 mil. So he left Philly $3 mil. But the point is that he’s paid already and only the number is still on their cap.

  31. Smitty313 says:

I’m not a Lebron hater, I love Lebron but the media is acting like he’s the only thing that matters with the NBA. Like he is the only guy to make it to a finals by his self. Iverson did the same thing. Lebron made it to the finals he didn’t win. On ESPN they keep talking about Lebrons 4th quater scoring to overshawdow Kobe’s 52 point game. Lebron is ahead of Kobe by 95 points in 4th quater scoring. What the don’t tell you is Lebron played in alot of close games and Kobe has played in alot of blowouts.

Tim Duncan has four rings and he dosen’t get any love from the media he might be the most consistent player ever.

D-Wade the media showed him love for a year and he actually won a ring.

All I’m sayinh is Lebron is not the only superstar in the NBA. Even when Jordan was dominating the NBA, other NBA superstars got the shine. You never seen thing like Barkley goes off for 52 but he’s still 95 points behind Jordan in 4th quarter scoring.

  32. word says:

To interpolate a quote from a deceased legend: Kobe is good, but LeBron is for the children.

    ^^ LoL

But E$ said it true that the media hype Bron up a lot.

  33. Kobeef says:

The Dunleavy trade with Indiana was one of the best trades Golden State has ever made.

Troy Murphy and Mike D. have two of the worst contracts in the NBA and somehow GS managed to move them. I don’t remember who decided to sign them to those contracts but they were smokin’ some fine ‘ish.

  34. Smitty313 says:

The love LeBron gets is for people who’ve won multiple rings. Shaq, MJ, Duncan, Kobe (before Colorado). If it were about numbers Kobe should have won MVP two years ago when that crappy Lakers team almost beat the Suns. He was putting up 35 a game. You should never win a MVP if you play with two other allstars (Nash his two, KG this year). Kobe should win MVP this year, if not then Lebron but no one else. Not Chris Paul, not KG, it’s a two man race right now. Paul Pierce isn’t getting the credit he deserves for there wins, to me he’s still the Celtics best player.

  35. YOUNGFED says:

K-Hova is the most consistent player ever and nobody ever outshined MJ Smitty313.

  36. isotope says:

i’m confused. Kobe pulled it off versus the Mavs. Lebron did his heroics versus the Bulls. ’nuff said.

  37. Brown says:

Youngfed, Smitty didn’t say that others outshined MJ, just that the L had other stars too - Barkley, Malone, Olajuwon, Ewing, Kemp, Wilkins, Thomas, Magic, etc. etc. who got their share of the spotlight too.

Kobeef, it was Chris Mullin who signed Murphy and Dunleavy to those contracts. I think it took him about 20 games to realize he made a colossal mistake and that the team would go nowhere until they were gone. Getting Jackson and Harrington back was a huge steal.

  38. marcus the great says:

    feelin that quote LEON

    “LeBron is for the children!”

    lol

  39. GayforRudy says:

Can we officially stop adding “Hova” to someone’s name to give them our own nickname?
    Examples:
    Kobe Bryant: K-Hova
    Kevin Garnett: K-Hova
    Kevin Martin: K-Hova
    Kevin Ollie: K-Hova
    Lebron James: L-Hova
    Larry Hughes: L-Hughes

It only works if there name starts with a “Jay” you dumb douche.

  40. YOUNGFED says:

    Brown

Smitty313 says, “Even when Jordan was dominating the NBA, other NBA superstars got THE SHINE.” and thats verbatim, kinda sounds to me like he was saying others outshined him atleast in the media’s eyes can’t see how I read that wrong.

  41. Nick Barnes says:

Where was it written that praising LeBron means you’re downing Kobe and vice versa? Nobody was taking anything away from what Kobe did yesterday. I think it’s pretty clear that both of them were off the hook.

  42. YOUNGFED says:

NO WE CAN’T Gay4Rudy. I made up the name K-Hova so I’m ridin’ wit it. Now shut yo gay ass up.

  43. marcus the great says:

Nick, apparently only one player can shine per day lol

  44. Nick Barnes says:

I don’t wanna get into who was more impressive, BUT … LeBron was going against an under-500 team however it’s a team that has guys who have him scouted up and down (Hughes, Gooden).
The Mavs are good but not so much defensively. Who was guarding Kobe? Kidd (who just got carved up by Chris Paul and aint the defender he used to be), Bass (too young), Stack (too old) and who else? Dirk? Maybe if Kobe had dropped 52 on Josh Howard, but that wasn’t the case.

  45. Dennis Castro says:

I don’t care where C-Webb is from, a spade is a spade. He ran the other way when the going got tough.

In the end, it’s better off for the Sixers, so I’ll stop the bashing.

  46. Desert Storm says:

Mavs out east. Probably 2nd or 3rd overall

Bulls out west. Definitely not even top 10

Who the accomplishment comes against is as important as the accomplishment itself

  47. Celts Fan says:

well put Castro. Let’s put together the all-Webber, “ran the other way when the going got tough” team

PG JKidd (as much as I respect his game, the way he forced his hand in NJ was pretty bad)
SG Vince Carter (for his disgraceful exit from Toronto in which he ADMITTED going half-speed to get his way, this “franchise player” is the captain of the team)
SF ‘Toine (except he’s not good enough for anyone to care or buy into it)
    PF Webber
C Shaq (love the Big Fella, but when things get bad, he’s “injured”)

    bench:
JO (he’s putting out feelers like he’d like to be gone, but hasn’t forced it yet, so let’s just keep him on the bench to be safe)
    Eddy Curry
Tim Thomas (he shows up for the last 2 months of each contract)

Coach: the man who’s made this an art-form, Larry Brown

    anyone I’m forgetting here?

  48. Nick Barnes says:

@Celts Fan — Add Kobe to that list (asking to be traded last summer) and Sam Cassell.

  49. YOUNGFED says:

Barkley too, shoot that list could go on for days.

  50. YOUNGFED says:

I forgot Pippen, GP, Ray Allen, KG, Malone fuk it Celts just change the name to the Ring Chasers. LOL

  51. isotope says:

Kobe can’t be on the list since he’s still on the same team he started with.

You can probably add TMac after that whole Orlando ordeal.

    What about Boozer?

  52. Smitty313 says:

Kobe still played hard the whole time. Boozer dose not fit either. He lied to the Cavs told them he would resign with them then left for more money. The Jazz were not that good at the time.

Mitch Richmond he got a ring with the Lakers.

    Damon Stoudimire this year.

I don’t know if you can count Iverson, I think his time in philly was pretty much over.

  53. THE BACH says:

The Black Mamba scored 52 points against the Mavs and the Dime crew thought it was necessary to discuss Kobe’s pinky and how he has a built in excuse?!?!?!
Clearly, you guys are on Lebronze’s nutz.
You can hate all you want, but don’t deny the truth!

  54. Smitty313 says:

I didn’t mean players out shined MJ. What I was saying if Barkley had a crazy game they wouldn’t compare Barkley’s day to something Jordan did. MJ did get outshined some days.

  55. YallAllReadyKnow says:

how the hell the bum ass rockets keep winning games? mcgrady is nice, but everyone else sucks. smoke-n-mirros?
them boys won a gajillion in a row and they still in the bottom half of the standings. something aint right.

and denver nuggs should be ashamed of themselves. all the talent in the world and they can’t win big games when the matter the most. the nuggs prolly won’t make the playoffs….and i think that reality is starting to set in with the players.

if they don’t….who had a worse season; dwyane wade or carmelo anthony?

  56. Smitty313 says:

Iverson was looking real sad at the end of that game. I think he knows they aren’t going anywhere. The Rockets are playing some good defense. They have a light schedule the next few games also. I think out of there next six games they play 2 teams with a winning record. Dallas and the Hornets. After that it gets tough Dallas again, Lakers, Suns.

  57. doc says:

Why do everybody gotta pick between Kobe and Lebron? They both the shit and I cant be the only dude on this site to be smart enough to like and appreciate both of these talents that u know when they hang it up are gonna be some of the best ever. People be havin so much hate in they blood its one or the other. That shit retarded its Bron and Kobe relax sit back and look at greatness.

  58. Celts Fan says:

YOUNGFED, I wasn’t making a ring-chasers list, I’m making the, “Signed a contract, didn’t like the situation after a while and forced (or tried to force) their way out while still under contract” list. That’s a completely different thing…

and how do Ray Allen and KG end up on your list? Both got traded, KG despite saying, “I want to retire in Minnestota” over and over until they dealt him anyway. Neither asked to be traded or “jumped to a contender” (Ray could’ve signed w/ Cleveland instead of Larry Hughes, for hte same money Seattle gave him and been much better off, that’s loyalty.) Wouldn’t put AI on that list either (he eventually got sick of the ineptitude of Billy King and what he was constantly surrounded by. Can’t say I blame him…) Wouldn’t include Boozer (what he did was slimy, but this is reserved for pulling that crap when you’re still under contract, not renegging on a verbal agreement you made as a FA)

  59. Myrie says:

    Wassup troops…
Myrie is back. What’s been going on ’round here?

  60. isotope says:

I predicct the Rockets dont lose till the play the Hornets. Yes that includes beating the Mavs :)

  61. BC says:

So - based on some of the comments on the Kobe vs. LeBron MVP contest… is it better to have a horrible team so that people can say “if LeBron wasn’t on the team, they’d be in the lottery”, or is it better to have a half-decent team so that someone would argue “if Kobe wasn’t there, they’d be a lower playoff seed”?

  62. What is this!? says:

I feel bad for Iverson. Because that Denver team has to be one of the most heartless teams in the NBA. Even when AI has a bad game I feel good about his effort. But some of those players on that roster act like they don’t know what they are playing for. And some seem like they are just playing for STATS or All-Star games. The problem is this team seems to have no offensive sets, they play sort of helter-skelter, and seem to not be commited on defense. I thought I would never say this, but maybe…just maybe AI was better off in Philly. Nah…anything is better then his situation in Philly. LOL!

And to answer the question, I think it is safe to say that D-Wade is having a far worse season then Melo. D-Wade team is the worste team in the NBA. Denver is just inconsistant. But I feel like Melo doesn’t have no one to blame but himself. When I watch Denver play I feel like Iverson has done all he can do to try to will this team to want to win. You can’t teach people to have HEART…either they have it or they don’t. The sad part is if things don’t work out, the media will blame Iverson first and throw him under the bus like they always do…damn I wish AI would have went to play with KG (when he was a TIMBERWOLF) instead of getting traded to Denver, because at least then he would be playing next to a player who has as much heart as he does.

  63. What is this!? says:

Oh and Lebrons a BEAST!! Just wanted to add that in. LOL!

  64. Dennis Castro says:

How ironic would it be if the Sixers made the playoffs while Denver and AI sat at home watching?

One thing about this Sixer team is they play hard and have heart, which is more than anyone can say for that Denver team, minus AI.

Carmelo is completely overrated to me, he does one thing and one thing only, score. He makes no attempt at defense, then whines when Denver doesn’t go after Artest.

    Doesn’t rebound the ball for a dude that’s 6′9″.

He’s the most overrated player in the league to me.

  65. GayforRudy says:

Yeah well I’m letting you know that “K-Hova” is the worst nickname I’ve ever heard….

  66. GEE... Cold on em! says:

Rockets making everyone look right now. Whose shootin?

Again for the 50millionth time, no good thing will come to Denver as long as G.K. is the coach.

LeBron still should get M.V.P. right now.

Good thing N.O. doesn’t have to deal with the Wizards in the playoffs.

Hey anyone recall that play where Dirk bumped into his own man and just fell crushed to the floor. If you ever get a chance to look at it again, mind you Dirk is a 7 footer, notice Dampier I think it was doesn’t hardly budge when they collide.
Dirk reminds me of that kid who gets hurt whenever he does something wrong or something doesn’t go his way, so he can blame it on something or someone else.

Dang Manu is supposedly getting MVP talk. Like that?? I mean he has been dynamic this year but I don’t know about MVP dynamic.

Deke is the myth. 41 still finger waving, and to the point where other players who get a play on him go back waving their finger. Dude you dunked on a 41 year old dude,… it ain’t that spectacular! On the other side of the coin though when Deke blocks yo attempt at 41 (supposedly cause I think he 54) yea that is spectacular.

Love permanent images in the mind:
    M.J.’s shoulder shrug.
Shaq’s slinky shake running back down the court.
    Deke’s finger wave of course.
Any of Zo’s scowls and Old C Webb’s after key plays.
AI putting his hand to his ear to hear the crowd.
KG hittin that heart to show he has heart.
Gatling, I think it was, dapping Kemp after he got crowned.
Gary Payton’s head shaking as he talks trash.
Gil and Larry both turning around before there three’s went in. Gil in a game, Larry in the three point contest.
Vince’s jump over a 7 footer in a game dunk.

And the new one, Kyle Korver acting like his nightmare has come to life as an opposing player shoots the J. LOL
Plenty more but those are some of my favs.

shit man i was having that same conversation a couple of minutes ago
about how much denver sucks and its because of that ballhog that cant rebound and only shoots

i think paul should be mvp

  69. Ian says:

besides if denver makes the playoffs theyll prob draw the spurs
    and lose the series 4-1

  70. What is this!? says:

I think it is sad that the Sixers might be in the playoffs with a record under .500. Thats the real sad part. And the media will twist it and act as if they are better off without Iverson, when the fact is they still suck, they are just in the East where everyone (besides the Celtics, Pistons, Magic and Cavs) SUCK! My nephews JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL b-ball team can make the playoffs in the east. It wouldn’t matter anyways if they made the playoffs, they will be right back at home within a week after getting swept by the Celtics or the Pistons. :)

  71. Ian says:

    what is this?
and the best part for them is that they get sweept at home so they dont have to fly back

  72. What is this!? says:

^^ Also, i’m scared to see what that Nuggets team is going to look like when they go back to Philly for the first time with Iverson….that team will probably not show up again and LOSE just to make AI look like an @ss on national t.v…. Iverson will probably drop 50 on the SIXERS though :)
