(Almost) Daily Fantasy

Hit me with your fantasy questions in the comments section below and I will do my best to answer all of them…

Gilbert Arenas/Elton Brand - Here is the daily update: Gil went through a “full” practice, though it sounds like it was mostly non-contact drills. Elton Brand also practiced though it was not the full court extended work that Gil got. Positive news on both accounts, though the fantasy clock is ticking!

Darko - Darko is balling a bit. The Grizz are feeding him the ball and making an effort to develop his offensive game. Good news is Darko responded last night with 21 points. Bad news is he had zero blocks.

Grizz Guards - I’d own Conley, but I wouldn’t start any of them. Crittenton and Lowry looked great last night but minutes are just too hard to spread around consistently in that backcourt.

Matt Carroll - It’s like last season all over again. Matt Carroll doesn’t seem to get a real fantasy opportunity until the end of seasons. Last night he played 46 minutes, had 3 threes, and 18 points. As long as Wallace is out, Carroll is a nice pick up.

What does everyone think about Mickael Pietrus? It seems that now that the deadline is passed, he is playing well.. or is this a fluke?

I’ve been reading the daily fantasy for as long as it’s been “Daily Fantasy”…even when it actually came out daily..LOL And with the Doc’s advice…I’ve killed in my leagues…just my 2 cents.

  8. Robertsonconsulting says:

I was just offered d. Wade and E. Okafor for josh smith (a Beast) and Barngani (don’t know how to spell his name, plays for Toronto). What do you think?

  9. Beantown, son! says:

    Help!

I’ve been offered Bibby & Al Thornton

    for my Jamal Crawford

    OR

    Bibby & Andre Miller

for my J. Crawford & Hinrich

HELP! the deadline is tonight…I am all set with assists so prob should not do the second option. But what ya’ll think? My team could use some PTS, REBS & help with %’s.

  10. kobeef says:

What the hell is going on with Gerald Green??
I thought he would get some PT in Houston.

  11. flyp says:

Robters - As a Raptors fan, I consult you to stay away from Bargnani. He’s having a down year and will SPORADICALY drop a few 20-point games but will give you less rebounding than TJ Ford. The guy’s only good for points and 3’s and that’s if he doesn’t foul out.

  12. duece says:

wats good doc?…i jus traded for shawn marion a few days ago hoping i would be getting a top 3 or 4 fantasy player in return…he has been playing well but more around top 15 over the past month. I have been offered danny granger and andrew bynum for my marion in a H2H league where I am sitting at 5th…does that trade make sense? do you think when bynum comes back that he still averages 13 and 10 w/ 2 blks? thanks

  13. len-e says:

    yo fantasy doc!
i’m currently leading my league with

    deron
    kobe
    gerald wallace
    rasheed wallace
    bell
    moon
    gooden
    deng
    haywood
    murphy
    prince
    jr smith
    wally world

and i’m rather optimistic this strategically well combined team :) will destroy enemies as soon playoff time come, but i need somebody keeping my assists up in the first and final playoff week (deron: 2 games in each of them)
i had marcus williams but dropped because he ruined my fg and 3p %s

    any idea?

    peace
