1-on-1 Tournament: Division Finals (East)
Agent Zero (photo. Tim Tadder)Now that we’re down to the division finals of this 1-on-1 tournament, we can consolidate a little bit. So for each of the Eastern Conference bracket finals, place your votes here. According to the readers (votes tallied through Thursday), the last round had some tight matchups: D-Wade vs. Caron Butler, Paul Pierce vs. Bosh, and Arenas vs. Dwight Howard
Getting closer to the finals, here are the rules: Straight 1-on-1, make it-take it, games to 11 (by ones and twos), all hypothetical. The six division winners will advance to the finals, with two of them getting a bye, just like the NFL playoffs. Vote in the comments section to determine the Eastern winners:

Kevin Garnett vs. Paul Pierce - Paul Pierce. He can break is man down off the dribble and can stick open shots. Garnett has the size and the desire. Pierce has the better skill set. Pierce wins a close one.
CENTRAL
LeBron James vs. Chauncey Billups - LeBron James. LBJ is just too much for Chauncey to handle.
SOUTHEAST
Dwyane Wade vs. Gilbert Arenas - Gilbert Arenas. This is pretty much a toss up. If it were D-Wade circa 2006, I’d give him the nod but it is the current version. The current version of Gil is just about the same as the current version of D-Wade (except less popular). I say Gil goes on one of his shooting streaks and takes this one. Who ever wins this is going to lose in the next round anyway.

Garnett. Garnett has size and a good enough handle to dribble inside and post up. He can also keep up on D.
Lebron. The only way Billups is winnng this is if he goes 6-6 from three witn no turnovers. He doesn;t have the size or strength to stop james.
Arenas. Arenas has a better shooting touch from three and that is really the only place that either has an advantage.

Dwyane Wade vs. Gilbert Arenas - Toss up, so I guess Id just have to choose at random seein as their both comin off big injuries Id have to say Wade only cause I dont believe Gil would play D as well as Wade would.
I understand it looks like I picked based on the name game but there is actual weight behind the decisions
