Even Aaron Gray Has an Attitude Problem

The situation is so bad in Chicago, that it’s a approaching a full-blown player mutiny against the organization. This morning, we told you about Chris Duhon’s latest antics, and now we read about Aaron Gray doing his best Tyrus Thomas impersonation.

From today’s Chicago Tribune
:

As Aaron Gray walked to the bench after Drew Gooden replaced him following a brief second-quarter stint Tuesday night, the rookie center, according to several witnesses, snapped at interim coach Jim Boylan.

“That’s what I get for working hard?” Gray said.

A shocked Boylan snapped back and Gray, a second-round pick, played only the final 1:21 of a blowout victory over Memphis the rest of the night.

Welcome to the 2007-08 Bulls, where personal agendas often reign supreme and the me-first behavior of entitlement both on and off the court has played a major factor in the team’s underachieving ways.

Duhon? Aaron Gray?? When the poison has reached these lows, the Bulls must wish they could just void everybody’s deal and start from scratch.

umm..in basketball you should play the players that are helping the team win and not just with big contracts. Just because their a rookie doesn’t mean that they can’t play as good as the veterans. Boylan is an idiot in that you should give the minutes to the players that produce no matter how old they are.

So who’s the next Bulls coach going to be?

  3. rangerjohn says:

hmmm is chitown the new NEW YORK? bad contracts, players hating the management, bulls fans long for the days of jordan more every day!

  4. YallAllReadyKnow says:

rangerjohn is back on here. lol.
who let this army clown onto this site
u a bulls fan? hahaha loser

  5. YOUNGFED says:

    LOL

  6. Celts Fan says:

the sad thing is, Aaron Gray has the potential to be one of their best backup bigs. He’s a legit 7′0″, 280, and has some touch.

this team is lost. what a shame that they were in the same position as the Celtics last year, of acquiring a ton of young talent for a blockbuster trade, and in the end they got (drumroll please…)

    Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden!?!

  7. Celts Fan says:

don’t know about the players, but the FANS should be every bit as pissed at the management as the players are. the Ben Wallace signing and subsequent Chandler deal were the single worst thing that’s happened to this franchise since #23 walked away.

  8. YallAllReadyKnow says:

memphis, knicks, clippers wolves and bobcats will all reach the finals before the bulls do again

  9. QQ says:

That’s what happens when you lose. Players losing their cool, management slapping suspensions to everybody but the mascot and utter chaos being thrown around. But puhlease Gray, just shut the f up. Even though you have the potential, dozens of players in the free agent pool will kick your sorry ass, so shut up and play if you want to save your spot.

The Bulls long term situation isn’t as bad as it could be. Just makes me sick that people getting paid THAT much to…play basketball? can have such a terrible (terribull?) attitude. Hopefully every player that pulls this b.s. gets blacklisted from the league.

  11. YallAllReadyKnow says:

u should be blacklisted from this board.
    u lil punk bitch

  12. Jim says:

I don’t like that…no one likes that. But when you have Duhon (always considered a class guy) and Gray (never heard anything bad, seemed alright when I’ve seen him in person off court) saying crazy stuff…

Also, is YallAllReadyKnow the worst poster ever?

  13. Marcus says:

he’s the worst poster on this site

  14. YallAllReadyKnow says:

whatever. yall can suck me like ur john amechi

  15. doc says:

Gray kept it real. They dum ass coach taking him out and he’s hustling I feel him.

  16. Cobra_Verde says:

Deng and Sefolosha are the only players with any class on that team

  17. dagwaller says:

I don’t know. I feel like there’s better ways of showing you’re frustrated than doing it in front of the entire world. Makes the team even worse (ask the Knicks) and doesn’t necessarily improve your own decision.

Think about it - if the coach makes a bad decision, and you keep hustling, you might get back in. If he makes a bad decision and you bitch about it, there’s no way you’re getting back in. Problem is, players are rarely held accountable for not performing, unless the coach says/does something about it. And then the coach, who in theory knows more than the players do, gets in trouble for it (at least in the media)? Doesn’t make sense.

Tells you a lot about Ben Wallace and Skiles

  19. kowtz says:

YallAllReadyKnow’s posting = Isaih Thomas’ Coaching

  20. Isiah Thomas says:

    C’mon, KOWTZ

I’m a much better coach than that idiot can post. Keep it real and compare it to what it really looks like : Curry’s rebounding = YallAllReallyDontWannaKnow’s posts

  21. dagwaller says:

Hahaha…are we sure that it isn’t just dank posting in disguise?
