32-0

Head over to High School Hoop for a look at the 32-0 New Jersey Champion St. Anthony’s Friars. There was no question about St. Anthony’s dominance in the Garden State - they crushed Science Park 69-36 in the Tournament of Champions final thanks to 21 points from Rutgers-commit Mike Rosario and 17 from Marquette-bound Tyshawn Taylor.

But there is a question as to whether this particular St. Anthony’s group is the best of all time. The other squads in question are the ‘88-89 team with Bobby Hurley, Jr., Terry Dehere and Rodrick Rhodes, and the ‘96 crew of Ajmal Basit, Ike Williams, Anthony Perry, and Delvon Arrington.

And in that photo above, Reebok created a special gold ball for Bob Hurley to commemorate this historic achievement.

That’s sick to go 32-0. Especially since New York style is like streetball.

The 88′-89′ team was the best! They were plain sick. Were both Hurley bros. on that team? And whatever happened to Rodrick Rodes?

And no kidding, they’ve been so amazing because Hurley makes them play full court in the Strength Shoes! I still have & use mine.
