A.I.’s Kicks
Allen Iverson will be wearing a special version of his Q3 sneaker tonight in his return to Philly. Willie Green will be wearing the Q3 as well, but in a Sixers colorway with a semi-tribute to A.I. stitched into them. Green’s will read “Beamin33″ because when Iverson was on the Sixers, Allen and the other vets nicknamed Green “Willie Beamin” after Jamie Foxx’s character in “Any Given Sunday.”
Also, some fans in attendance tonight will win a chance to customize their own pairs of the Q3, compliments of RBK.

AI deserves at least that. He still loves his old city, as should the city should still love him after everything they went through. It’ll be a nice walk down memory lane, for sure. Regardless of where AI and Phili are now.
