Coach K’s Signature Kicks

IMAGE DESCRIPTION

After winning his 800th game against N.C. State a few weeks back, Coach K had the honor of having a pair of Air Force 1s made in his honor to celebrate the occasion (how many coaches can you think with their own signature kicks??).

The best part of this whole thing might be the box, as Nike went all out in terms of packaging and presentation. Don’t count on getting a pair of these for your own collection though – the pair you see here are 1-of-1 produced.

Tight.I can’t really see Coach K wearing those but they’ll look nice on his trophy case. Still they’re nothing compared to the Pat Summit 950th win Birkenstocks.

I expected a lot more blue and white…still, a cool way to honor an icon.

You know that he will never wear them or if he does, he wont treat them like a true sneakhead

Um, who exactly are these shoes marketted towards? Besides being a collectible item, I don’t see who would buy these. Do you youngins rocking Coach K sneakers? Do you see Coach K wearing them himself?

thats why its a 1 of 1, its more of a trophy/marker of significance i mean damn i might hate duke but 800 wins is 800 wins.
