But I take his work ethic with me the most. He works hard for his skills. Every time I feel lazying up, I watch Kobe and read about his routine and ambitions and it slaps me in the face. Vince Carter openly admits how he didn't capitalize on his talents due to laziness. It's not about just watching top 10 highlights of his best dunks or shots. It's all the little maneuvers during defense, passes, and 1000 shots he makes not takes daily to get better at what he does. He prepares himself to take on 4 guys at the same time, make aerial acrobatics to evade the most air tight defense and still make a shot (2004 Blazers game, game tying 3 pt, his body was clogged up in the air and sill made it), keep himself in excellent shape to keep the engine running, and become that 4th quarter guy who can turn on and off at will to close it up. T Mac, I love the guy, can't do 4th quarter. He wants what he wants and he wants badly. He's the type of warriors Spartans trained the type of guy that men praised on the battle field in history. That's right, I said it: yes I did. He has been since MJ left the game. What Kobe has done for the Lakers Franchise is phenomenal.
