Custom kicksMembership has its privileges. Last night, after we finished up a hard day’s work here at the Dime factory, the guys from Nike ID came by and we (along with some of our industry friends) each got to design our own custom Nikes.
Either online or at one of the Nike ID studios (available at select Niketowns), you can pick the sneaker, fabric, color, and even personalize your kicks with the help of a pretty hot computer program. But there is one catch. If you go to the Nike ID website, you can’t customize the beloved Air Force 1s. Designing your own AF1 is a special privilege and can only be done at the original Nike ID studio in NYC, or if the traveling ID crew comes to you. Now you know we had to keep it exclusive over here at Dime — the Nike ID staff brought over an Air Force 1 computer program just for us.
At the end of the night, we produced some pretty sick kicks. Needless to say, everyone thought their creation was the hottest. We’ll post them when they get to the office and we’ll let you decide.

So many choices…

Can we see the woman’s face? Wanna see what’s in or coming to the offices at DIME.
Don’t want to get you all in no sexual harrasment problems but do you all have any females on staff and
1. Since you probably can’t say whether they look good are not can we see photos?
2. Can they ball?
3. Do they nag you guys? LOL
Might not wanna answer number 3 either if they can see, don’t want them on your case.

Hey Kimbo Slice,
You wanna see “what’s in” or “who’s in”? I can’t answer any of your questions, but you’ll probably have a lot of women on your case if you keep referring to them as objects instead of people.

Sick. I’d love to customise some AF1s.
How about a competition to let one of your loyal Dime readers custom up some AF1s without having to trek to NYC or wait for the Nike team to roll in to their town? (given I’m in the UK, that’ll never happen)

Hey Kimbo,
I think the girl in the photo might be from the nike ID camp that came to help design?

LOL naw Boogs I am good. I think that is more of a tomato vs. tamato type deal. Nice check though, I’ll try to keep that in the memory banks.
Big Shot BOB I thought about that, but just was wondering if “she” cause I don’t want to say “it” lol was a DIME employee. See Boogs it’s working already.
