If he’s the “anchor” of our D, then maybe we can make a package deal and get a guy like Camby in return.
I just think Dalembert makes critical mistakes, especially offensively, at critical times. He can block shots yeah, but he still takes stupid fouls way too often, which detracts from his defense. I’ve actually noticed the sixers playing better in this series for stretches when he sits down. Ok, if he plays within himself, just boards and blocks and attacks the offensive glass, then yeah, but he tries to do stuff he’s not capable of doing consistently.
And this has been going on for years. he should be farther along in his development that where he is right now. that’s where my frustration with him as a fan comes. I want him to be great, but he’s too inconsistent to be great.
The Sixers are always getting beasted by the bigs of the NBA. For once I’d like to have a dominant big, not an inconsistent one. Maybe I’m asking for too much, but that’s the only way we’ll get a championship. See Duncan, Sheed, or Shaq for the last 10 years. Will Dalembert take this team to that level at any point in his career?
Sammy aint great he good we cant expect that.A lot of bigs get dum fouls and they vets.Shaq in foul trouble every other game.Sammy okay but until we find somebody better thats who we gotta rock with.
You don’t change your haircut in the middle of the series. Your team was playing well and above expectations, don’t tempt fate! What was he thinking? You never tempt the basketball gods like this! They punished him for it!
