I said no one the nuggets plays defense but martin and that included Carmelo. My problem is people look at stats and think Camby and Iverson play defense but they don’t.When they gamble and don’t get it it puts the rest of the defense in a very bad postion and the other team normally score thats really not helping.The Nuggets have given up 109 points a game in the regular season and 125 in the playoffs.No one on the nuggets is playing defense, No one especially in this series.

So until the nuggets two best players(Melo,AI) and the rest of the team commit to playing defense this nuggets team isn’t going anywhere now or in the future.

Leave it up to a nuggets fan to not point out that Carmelo Anthony is one of the main culprits when it comes to not playing defense. You mentioned Iverson and Camby yet Carmelo who is 6’8 and 250 lbs and couldn’t gaurd my 5 yr old niece. Pathetic. Regardless if its gambling or not at least Camby and AI do something to contribute to the defense at times.

As a Spurs fan, nothing would give me greater pleasure then to see Iverson next to Tony P in the backcourt tossing a lob to Timmy, at least he would have a shit at getting a ring (unlike in Denver). And Coach Pop would be a great Coach for Iverson.
