bruce bowen is a dirty player, admit it. plays innocent but you’ve seen the tapes. i think manu is great. but i do believe he flops more than vlade divac. horry, only shows up in the playoffs to destroy other teams hopes. i was a fan of the kinds that one year horry destroyed their dreams. and when horry sideswiped nash last year. the series honestly belonged to the suns. duncan, hes a GREAT player. but the most ive enjoyed watchin him was when david robinson was there. tony parker. my favorite on the team. not dislike for him. he can just do whatever he wants on the court. all in all. theres a only a couple people on the spurs i dislike. but i think its the fact that theyre always around the top, you tend to root for different teams because u tire of them easily. easier than other teams because theyre not AS exciting. except for parker and ginobili.

Duncan doesn’t talk so you never know about him, if duncan has shaq or even odens personality people would like him more.

Manu flops, but so does everyone else, u see it more with manu cos he gets in that position everygame.

Actually there’s 30 teams, but that’s beside the point. You give the common anti-Spurs argument but it has no basis. How can you say they’re “no excitement” and “make every game look like paint drying” when you’ve seen numerous memorable down-to-the-wire exciting regular and postseason games involving this team?

Remember Derek Fisher’s shot with 0.4 left? Game 7 of the ’06 series with Dallas? (Actually the entire series was amazing.) The Kevin Martin Game in ’06? Games 3-4 of last year’s Finals were decided by a total of 4 points. Remember last year’s Phoenix series? Remember when Rasheed left Horry open in the ’05 Finals? Remember the WCF that year against Phoenix? Or the ’03 WCF against Dallas? The second-round series against L.A. that year when they sent Kobe home crying?

Did you fall asleep through all of that?

With that said, it’s understandable why the general public is tired of them. They’re always at the top and they win with an ease that lacks the rollercoaster effect of a team like Denver/GS/LA who will find ways to blow 30point leads then storm back with a barrage of points of their own. Yes, exciting basketball – but another word for that is ‘inconsistent’.

The Spurs are the exact opposite. They will grind your flashy asses out. So yeah, I don’t hate the Spurs. I respect the Spurs, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I’d much rather see someone else in the finals.
