    but then didnt everyone see this coming? i know i did, he got paid for nothing he would be an idiot not to take the money again next year.

    That’s the NBA though. Time your contracts so you have a couple of years at good money while you’re on the down slope. Then be a bad influence or useless enough that they just waive you to get you out of there, then sign onto a new team at a minimum to finish out the year, and then try to get someone to pay you again going forward.

    What’s the record for the number of teams paying the same player (at the same time) in any given season anyway?

    i dont know about how many teams but i know finley was the highest paid player in 06-07 because he was collecting like 18+ mil from dallas and then another 4-5 mil fro mthe spurs lmao gotta love the mavs paying a anyone to win a title on another team!

    franchise is getting paid from what 3 teams still? or was it 4?

    Funny how he was complaining about not getting any playing time and now that he’s hurt he can’t cash checks fast enough. Behind Alston, Jackson, and Brooks (and Head?) he has to know that he won’t see any time next year either.
    Since he comes off of the books after next season, maybe a team will take him for the cap space.

    he averaged (in his 10 games) 19 minutes, 5.5 points, 3 asists and 1.4 turnovers, shot 33% 23% from 3, and 57% from the freethrow line! and he wants playing time? REALLY?

    he sits and collects a check and sees even less minutes next season, i see about 10 minutes average at best.

    Has anyone fallen so hard in one season worse than Steve Frenchfries? (I refuse to call him franchise these days.) At one moment, he’s the face of the Rockets…the next he’s traded to Orlando and falls completely apart after that.

    Francis would be a big help to Houston if he could get healthy. They desperately need that extra scorer, that player who can come off the bench and create his own shot.

    I have given up on him ever being close to his previous all-star level and probably even a starting level but not as a contributor. He can still be a handy player off the bench. Hopefully it works out for him

    I don’t know what went wrong with this guy. And don’t say injuries - that’s part of it, but many stars suffer from injuries. They battle through it. Maybe they aren’t as good as their former self (Tmac, Grant Hill), but they don’t completely fall off like Steve Francis.

    It makes me a little sad. He used to be one of my favourite players. OH WELL!

    The Houston Rockets , as a professional team of NBA, is one of the major teams that has fans all around the world. It is quite normal if Houston Rockets tickets are so pricy or hard to find because such great teams tickets worth any price. It doesn’t matter if we pay a respected price for Rockets tickets because we satisfy our eagerness to watch good games and more than that when we go to watch a game it’s because we love this team and we shouldn’t be mean.
