A New Michael Jordan / Spike Lee Movie

Spike Lee and Michael Jordan are planning to join forces once again. But this time around, their time onstage won’t be limited to a 2-minute TV spot. We don’t know all that much about the film yet, except that it will be financed by the NBA. And currently, the plan is to bring Jordan and the film to the Cannes film festival in 2009.

According to Variety Magazine…

“The Jordan docu[mentary] will include extensive unseen footage shot by NBA cameras during the final two years in Jordan’s career, the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons.”

   Between Denzell and the NBA, Spike should be sending them Christmas cards every year.
