Kevin Pritchard (the GM of Portland) is a absolute genius! He landed the two best players in the draft. He basically set the Blazers up for a bright future with the 06 draft, and then the Blazers got extremely lucky and were able to get the best player in the draft in 07. Oden, Roy, and Aldridge is the best young trio in the league!

??
Garbajosa wasn't eligible for the draft - he signed as a free agent. No credibility here.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Boobie Gibson should switch places with Morrison. Morrison is the next Jiri Welch. His buddy Reddick shouldn't be on this list because you never see him play, move Garbage josa man up. I'd move Aldridge above Roy because Roy seems at his ceiling while Aldridge is a beast, but they're on the same team.

Most of you haven't seen Boobie play on a regular basis. Dude is fearless and hits big shots. Last years Eastern Conference finals he was avg like 15 and scored 31 in a close-out Game 6 against Rip Hamilton and the best defense in the league as a 20 year old. He not being in was the reason Cavs lost Game 7 this year. His big game and fearlessness will end up being one of the best shooter of all time.

Your analysis of Aldridge is wrong. Most of Aldridge's points do NOT come off of jumpshots. In the latter part of the season he made an effort to grind in the paint, and did very well. You might know that if you bothered to watch him more rather than making your uneducated guess.

LaMarcus Aldridge is NOT a low-post behemoth. He is a superior version of Joe Smith, and most of his baskets come from jump shots. So, if Chicago drafts him, they still rely on Gordon, Deng, Aldridge, and Hinrich knocking down 15-20 ft. jumpers consistently to win. Also, Aldridge means no Thabo Sefolosha, who is a very serviceable backup SG/SF, who brings length and defense to a backcourt thats short as hell. With proper coaching, Tyrus Thomas will be a very good player in this league.

The undisputable rules of draft
#1 You can't teach height
#2 You pick the most talented player, regardless of position.

1. Lamarcus Aldridge - very advanced low post skills give the Raps the foundation for years to come and the second coming of the twin towers.

2. Rudy Gay - He's Tyrus with a jumpshot and playmaking skills. Rudy and Deng form the froncourt the Bulls wish they had today.

3. Brandon Roy - Charlotte gets to keep Brandon Wright in 2007 because they already have Wallace and Roy at the wings.

4. Tyrus Thomas - Tyrus fills in well beside Greg Oden when he finally plays in 2008 - making them the best young froncourt defensive combo in the west.

After that I pretty much lose interest in this draft.

Bargs is a 7 foot jumpshooter and not the guy who was supposed to be able to make his own shot

Patrick O'Bryant might still turn into a useable centre but has been in pretty much the worst situation a big rookie could ask for since coming into the league.

Ronnie Brewer would have really helped the Magic.

Rondo is pretty much what he was expected to be - a fast playmaker who can't shoot from outside.

Leon Powe would be a good low post scorer on most teams. He'd get 30 minutes a night in Cleveland. Give the kid some love.

Randy Foye over Rajon Rondo.
And Daniel Gibson is NOT a lottery pick. I don't care how many 3pt'ers he hit in the Sophs/Rook game.
